I stayed here for 2 nights, the room rate was $189.00. The bedrooms are large, bathroom kinda small, beautiful decor, quality furnishings, large closet with mirrored doors. iron & board & small blow dryer. 2 foldable stands for suitcases & plenty of room to place them. Lighting is great, the room has big glass windows which are clean and blackout curtains if you want to sleep in. Small frig and microwave, tv is outdated , it's in a cabinet with doors but does not slide out.the carpet is not worn and was clean.there is a desk but not enough plugins, there is a powerstrip, but it was hard to get to and only one socket was available. The ac worked great.the breakfast buffet was terrific, the plates and utensils were all disposable and they had trays so if you wanted to take it back to your room you could. The made to order omelets was great and the guy making them was friendly and eager to make them anyway you wanted them , this was refreshing because most of the time this isn't the case at buffets. The bacon was thick, and delicious , the best I have ever ate on a buffet:) the juice cups are very small maybe 4 oz. but you could use a coffee cup. The potatoes, eggs , sausage & bacon was placed in huge silver bowls with heavy lids, so you have to hold the lid as you place the food on your plate, a rollback lid seems like it would be better for guests ,much more convenient . Overall this is a great buffet. Make sure you don't get your room placed in front of ice machine, as mine was. You can hear it clearly from inside your room. A great place to eat dinner is Hops, it's in walking distance.Delicious food! Its rating on trip advisor is high and it deserves it ! Believe me:) it opens at 5:00 pm on weekdays, parking at the hotel is convenient and large, north entrance and south entrance. The doors are heavy and has to be accessed with your room key 24hrs a day, so dragging your luggage in is hard, you really need someone holding the door for you, it would be great if they would put the large button you push so the doors open automatically. Overall this is a nice place to stay and I would stay again, although I would hope the price would be much less than $189.00.

This hotel has many problems. Just to name a few. Sound travels from the hallway to the room and across the rooms like in the dorm. Pillows are not comfortable. No thick drapes to fully cover first floor windows at night. Tiny bathrooms. No safe deposit in the room, etc. Would not come back or recommend to others. The amazing thing is that this hotel charges a fortune in spite of these problems during the high season.

Room Tip: Do not choose the first floor room.

We overnighted at the Red Lion on the way back to Canada. The hotel is outdated, dark and musty. On check-in the front desk wasn't particular friendly but did their job. Breakfast was included and held in the casino that is attached. I agree with the other reviews, it can be noisy, we could hear somewhere in the room above walking around in the night. It is in a good location, being able to walk somewhere for dinner, and parking is free in the lot in front of he hotel. The room and hotel fell far below what we were expecting for 180/night.

First time staying in a Red Lion hotel, and in future will avoid the chain if possible.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet. I awoke refreshed and prepared for another day's travel. Easy access to shopping and hospital. I would stay here again and again.

Room Tip: Third floor rooms on the east side were quiet and offered a spectacular view of the Flathead Mountai...

This is without a doubt one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. Our room was right next to the fitness center, giving us a non-stop treadmill serenade of beeps, grunting and pounding feet. Housekeeping was lazy and the pool and hot tubs were dirty. When the people above us moved, our floors bounced. Definitely NOT worth the price.

We stayed four nights at the Red Lion. It was our first long trip with a dog. When I mentioned this at check-in our room was changed to a first floor room with a sliding glass door opening to a nice enclosed garden area in the middle of the hotel. It was very nice letting our pup do his business without having to walk around the building some grass. They also gave us a doggie welcome bag with some treats!

The room was adequate with a tv, fridge and microwave. My one complaint of the room is that the window did not open.

The pool was lots of fun, there is also a sauna and two hot tubs (one inside in the pool area and one outside in the enclosed garden area).

The breakfast was good, the omelet station is a nice perk.

The hotel is located at the end of the Kalispell Regional Mall. Plenty of parking. The hotel is right in the middle of Kalispell. A walgreens is within walking distance. The reason I gave this hotel four stars instead of five is that I felt the price was a bit high enough though it was a nice hotel.

Room was very clean, a little outdated but nothing to complain. About, shower upgrade and everything would have been perfect. The breakfast was excellent! Front desk friendly and recommended eats and things to do/see!
