We had dinner here on Friday night and the food was excellent. There are several options for vegetarians/pescatarians. We shared the "mezza" appetizer. The blue cheese mousse was delicious, as well as the hummus. We shared two entrees; the risotto and the special of the day, which was an almond-encrusted halibut dish. Both were fantastic- full of flavor, appropriate portion size and cooked correctly. The fish was perfectly prepared. We also ordered a bottle of wine, which was a pretty standard Argentine malbec. It is relatively expensive but the food was worth the price.
The ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice. It has very high ceilings but it did not feel cavernous and it was not too loud despite being pretty busy. The space is nicely divided with plenty of room between tables. The service was decent, if a little slow. Our server was clearly new and had to go to the kitchen to answer our questions. But she was attentive. I would definitely recommend Scotty's Table to others.
