We had dinner here on Friday night and the food was excellent. There are several options for vegetarians/pescatarians. We shared the "mezza" appetizer. The blue cheese mousse was delicious, as well as the hummus. We shared two entrees; the risotto and the special of the day, which was an almond-encrusted halibut dish. Both were fantastic- full of flavor, appropriate portion size and cooked correctly. The fish was perfectly prepared. We also ordered a bottle of wine, which was a pretty standard Argentine malbec. It is relatively expensive but the food was worth the price.

The ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice. It has very high ceilings but it did not feel cavernous and it was not too loud despite being pretty busy. The space is nicely divided with plenty of room between tables. The service was decent, if a little slow. Our server was clearly new and had to go to the kitchen to answer our questions. But she was attentive. I would definitely recommend Scotty's Table to others.

Very nice setting in downtown. The food and service was very good. The menu selections were varied and everything we ordered for a table of 8 was prepared well. Service also very good but it was not crowded. Just a cut below a 5 star restaurant, 4 1/2 stars.

We stopped in for dinner without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised. There was patio seating as well as the indoor restaurant seating. The decor was well done with much attention to detail. The acoustics were very good inside and we were able to have a great conversation during dinner. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the mussels and the beef duo-the brisket is fantastic! The wine selection was small, but very good and affordable. I think the portions are a bit small for the price charged. All in all a great spot! It is a bit hard to fins, I suggest parking in the Caras Park parking lot and walking upstream towards the bridge. It is on your left.

The service is exceptional at Scottys Table. I decided to be brave and ordered the polenta. Mistake, the dish was overpriced amd underwhelming. Not much flavor as polenta is really as open slate it need refined work to rampart some flavor to it. With hucklberries being in right now a compote made from these would have rocked. The meals for the others in our party were good.

Came to Missoula for a getaway weekend. First time visitors. Based on the good reviews, we booked a table at Scotty's and we were so glad we did! The staff was knowledgeable and professional, and the food and wine were fabulous. The fresh bread, the mussels, the pasta, and the salmon special were all top notch. We highly recommend Scotty's!!
