This is an outdated place but it is great... nice staff, accommodating. Rooms furnished as necessary, bed was fine. Breakfast is a typical motel breakfast - there are some fresh options - fruit, yogurt, etc.
My only request would be to make the coffee stronger :)

The building we were in wasn't particularly inviting from the front. No windows on the side you enter the room from. But the room itself was very nice and quiet comfortable. Clean and quiet. The surprise was the view through the large window out back. A park like setting that with the window open a bit the babbling brook made us feel like we were in a cabin. Pet friendly ($10) and that park out back is perfect for that. Very friendly staff and wonderful full breakfast.

We chose Ruby's over the Doubletree downtown for half the price and we weren't disappointed.

Room clean with older furnishings, rather out of the way compared to the "happening" downtown but not too far from the airport. Room was spacious...as I recall the price was pretty reasonable. All in all a fine place especially if you're just on your way to somewhere else.

Although the furnishings/décor of the rooms were not the most up-to-date, the quality of the stay more than made up for it! This was by far the largest hotel room we have ever stayed in! It had a double king, with a desk and a recliner...and still plenty of room to move around. Separate walk-in closet/sink area. Separate toilet/shower area. What a welcome change after being cramped in other hotels. Breakfast was super...Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, corned beef hash, as well as coffee, juice, donuts, cereal, oatmeal, etc. Staff was super friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean, water hot, beds comfy. A truly wonderful experience. Would absolutely return and recommend to a friend.

Room Tip: Our room was in the back on the ground floor.

Decided to try again after last years experience, so checked in for one night to a friendly front desk. Check in more efficient then other motels. If memory serves me correctly, I've got the same room as last year. The room is very clean but older furnishings. Especially the older in the wall air conditioning with a large crack that between the unit and the wall. Breakfast always better then other hotels with a large variety to choose from. Price is right and conveniently located.

The staff was very helpful, gave us soap for the laundry, small items we forgot to pack. There is a nice lawn and small creek out back to sit and play with your pup. Not fenced, but we did let our dog off leash with a watchful eye. Took a takeout dinner and had a picnic by the creek.

Our dog unfortunately was sick in the hotel room,we offered to pay extra for cleaning, but they said it was included in pet fee. Girl cleaning our room was very friendly and said not to worry she would steam clean the carpets - no problem.

If travelling with a dog I would recommend Rubys

Room Tip: Yes it is a bit older, but has nice breakfast, good location, restaurants nearby, and place to walk...

We stayed here for one night to see my niece who is now attending the University of Montana here. The location is nothing special but the hotel was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was great and better than most hotel breakfast food with lots of choices. It is clean and comfortable. It is an easy drive from here to the University and downtown Missoula. The city is surrounded by mountains, and the downtown is very nice.
