Local craft beer on tap, excellent food, great people, what more could you ask for? We had the black bean burritos and a burger, they were excellent. The service was great too!

After a trip to Lake Bowman we stopped by the Northern Lights which is one of two businesses in Polebridge. The bar had tons of atmosphere which the bartender / owner added to with his friendly manner and charm. We took a recommendation for a local whiskey followed by a local bear cold smoke. We enjoyed the place and would have stayed to enjoy a meal of Elk steaks or something else but the dirt road and the pending sunset egged us back. Note there are cabin rentals here and camping.

There are not many restaurant options in this area, but still this place is acting as if they had competition. The staff is friendly, the service is prompt and the food is pretty good. It is not a fancy restaurant but much better than what you can normally cook in a camping nearby. At times it is filled by the locals living in the valley around, so this is always a good indication on how good is the place.

Great place to stop and eat after exploring this remote part of Glacier National park. Huckleberries are awesome - recommend anything with them. Restaurant inside is small but big area outdoors with picnic tables. Friendly people.

On a rainy afternoon in Glacier, we decided to take a drive up to Polebridge. The drive is not bad at all especially compared to our Michigan roads! We had dinner at the Northern Lights Saloon - what a great local place - food was outstanding and we really enjoyed talking to the owners and staff. The trout was the best my BF had ever had and the spaghetti was delicious - sausage and lots of fresh vegetables from their garden. Both meals were served with a big hunk of fresh bread from the Mercantile next door. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough - it was amazing.
