“Don't go there”

Hot, tiny, smoke-smelling room with shower that alternately froze and scalded and broken glass ground in the floor. Cost was the same as other, much nicer hotels in town. This was the last room available in town during the Cherry Festival . . . and it's easy to see why. Couldn't get wi-fi to work reliably. Desk staff could not have cared less about any of it.

Spent 3 nights in Polson and enjoyed our stay at Port Polson. Friendly people, large king size room and comfy bed. Wonderful view of the lake--and not too much traffic. Only concern was the room had no window--used the fan to circulate air. Would definitely go back there again.

Room Tip: There are different levels and arrangements of rooms--check out where you'd like to be if they h...

Rather over-priced for an off-season weeknight. Lots of traffic noise. TV had scratchy sound, and remote did not work. And the wifi connection was only adequate, and then only if you were in the right spot in the room. The front desk staff was very abrupt and not welcoming.

Room Tip: Go across the street, or keep driving to Kalispell or Missoula.

We picked this hotel because of the location next to the water. The room we had looked out on the lake, it was a good size room with a good bed. Clean the reception was very nice, it also offers free Internet service. The hotel does have a casino attached to it with smoking casino and non smoking casino. All are slot machines, there are free beverages to those playing machines, such as sodas and coffee. There is free coffee all day in the lobby of the hotel. We would stay there again, the rates for us were a little high, but we needed to stop somewhere.

I came to Polson to stay for a week and help my grandaughter get settled as she just moved there. Everyone at the inn were so helpful and friendly. My room was on the second floor and had a awesome view of the lake. Everything was neat and clean and comfy. I couldn't wait to get back each evening. Since family lives there now, we will be back often and Port Polson Inn is where we will stay.

"Non smoking" rooms smell like they were previously smoking room. Ground level rooms do not have air conditioning. Non street view room dont have windows. Off busy highway 93 with lots of traffic noise. Outdated decor and not particularly clean. I feel ripped off.

We pulled into town late on a Friday evening with no reservations. One glance told us that this was not the type of motel we usually stay at, but rooms were scarce and we had little choice. We were given the "Honeymoon Suite" (room 49), which turned out to be a huge room (really huge) with a king bed and two large windows overlooking the lake. The bedding was far from the standard motel fare - flowered sheets and homey quilts on the big comfy bed. The furnishings, while a bit dated, were totally charming. Everything was immaculate. If I had to give one negative, it would be the continental breakfast, which was basically doughnuts and coffee. In short, we would definitely stay here again!
