“Beautiful view, spacious rooms, excellent service”
Reviewed 30 June 2012 via mobile

Spent two nights here during a trip to MT and WY and was very pleased! Beautfiul views of flathead lake and the property itself was very nice. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and flat screen tv and in room refrigerator were a big bonus! We did not use the casino. I did notice a smoke smell in the lobby but stayed in room 214 and did not feel like the rooms smelled of smoke at all. Wr ate at the Nook restaurant and we were pleased with the food, the service was excellent. Would highly recommend

The check in agent was friendly and helpful when we arrived.
Being non-smokers, we did notice a smokey odor upon entering
the lobby but realized that might be the case, knowing in advance of
a casino being located on the premises.
Our room was clean and comfortable but a little dated. We
had a third floor room with a small balcony overlooking the
beautiful lake which would have been nicer if it hadnt been
raining!
We ate in house at the Nook dining room,
both dinner that night, and breakfast the next a.m.
the food was good, and the wait staff was better! Breakfast was
a great value.

The executive suite has a fantastic whirlpool tub. Also a stall, shower. The living area had leather couches and was nice. Only problem it's over a huge air conditioning fan and can be loud. Bring your earplugs. View is beautiful.

We stayed here again for one night on May 2012. Here are the pros and cons of our latest stay here. The cons are that there is a strong odor of cigarettes on the 2nd floor that come from the smoking casino/bar. The smell is very noticeable at the check-in desk and the carpeting on the lobby stairs is getting worn. The bar used to be very classy and spacious with nice decor and overlooking the beautiful Flathead Lake. Now, the casino is the primary focus with a smoking and non-smoking side. The bar is hidden within the smoking side and the clientele who come here leave a lot to be desired. There is no food to be found on the premises (or within Polson) after 9pm, with the exception of McDonald's or a grocery store. The next morning we ate breakfast at the restaurant downstairs, where the food is average.

The pros are that the staff here are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Everyone we talked with was so nice and willing to help! The beds are super comfortable, there are flatscreen TVs in the rooms, the showerheads are very nice, there are some updates in the rooms (e.g. marble countertops in the bathroom), and rooms are clean. The prices are all very reasonable ranging from the nightly rate to drinks to the restaurant prices. You can get $3-5 large mixed drinks! The location/views are beautiful, too.

Hopefully in the future another non-smoking bar could open in the restaurant and/or the restaurant itself could remain open - at least until 11 or 12pm on a Fri-Sat night so that non-smokers could enjoy drinks in a more pleasant environment. Some smoke is okay, but it's too concentrated in that tiny smoking casino. To go with those generous drinks, we also need a place we can get some food later than 9pm.

I recently spent two days on business in the Polson area, and was impressed with the hotel. The room was clen and comfortable, although the table and area were a little cramped when trying to do paperwork. The publc areas were inviting, with very nice views of the lake.
I do agree with an earlier review comment about the casino. I had one drink at the bar, and the cigarette smoke and smell were intrusive.
Breakfasts in the Nook restaurant were excellent and a great value for the price.
The most impressive attraction of the hotel was the staff - very friendly, outgoing, and professional. It was a pleasure to deal with them.

I stayed there with my 14yr old son over the last weekend and we both had a really GREAT time, we live about 50 miles from Polson and just wanted to get away. There were things for both of us to do and when it was all over I had done so well in the Casino that the whole trip did not cost a thing not even gas! The people were amazingly nice and had great pride in
making sure you're stay was pleasant. (THANKS!) And if you want to see one of the great wonders of Montana be outside as the sun Rises over the beautiful Mission Mountains,
This is truly a greatplace with exceptional people!

My husband and I stayed in the executive suite here in celebration of our third anniversary, and it was amazing. The front desk clerk told me that they have just undergone massive reconstruction, so anyone who has stayed here previously maybe consider giving it another shot?
The restaurant "The Nook" was quiet and had great views of the lake. While the dinner was quite expensive there was more than enough in one plate to put myself and my husband in a food coma.
The 24 hour casino was amazing, and while noisy (obviously there are bells going off on the machines) it was great fun for the both of us.
When we finally trekked back to the room we were delighted to be there too! The jetted tub was about the size of a normal 4 person outdoor hot tub, but pleasantly tucked in the oversize bathroom instead of just stuck in the center of the bedroom. There was also a double headed shower (for when you did not have approximately 1.5 hours to fill the tub and the extra time to enjoy it), the toilet was nicely tucked into a more private side room.
The living room was nicely furnished with a leather couch and loveseat set, which were amazingly comfortable. The dining area arranged with a large table and chairs, and the bed in the separate bedroom area was amazingly perfect.
The private deck on this room had a wonderful view of the lake and cute patio furniture to sit and watch the sun come up over the water.

Sadly we only had one day here, so we missed to pool (I'm fairly positive there is one though) as well as any other activities offered, but one thing for sure is we will be coming back as soon as we are in the area again!
