We rented all three rooms for our family including one teen and one pre-teen. Each room was comfy and nicely decorated with lots of great original art. The breakfasts were incredible. There was bottomless coffee awaiting us each morning when we got up. We spent four nights and each breakfast was amazing. It was so nutritious and filling that we didn't even stop for lunch on the ski slope. Leah was gracious to make copies of her recipes for us.

When we arrived back at the Irish Rose after a day of skiing, they had a treat awaiting us.....several days it was a couple of bottles of wine with cheese and crackers. Another day it was fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and milk.

Gordon and Leah were the perfect hosts. They had helpful ideas regarding evening meals and side trips. Their library is well supplied with travel literature as well as lots of great short reads. They also have lots of games available. The wireless Internet connection was nice to have. The location on the main street in Red Lodge made it easy to walk to shopping and dining.

Be sure to go to Magpie Toys. What a fun old fashioned toy store! Don't miss eating at Bridge Creek. We went two nights and everyone raved about what they ordered. The REALLY BIG hit was the Elk Medallions entree which was ordered medium rare. It rivals anything we've ever had at 5* restaurants.

We travel a lot, and we've been exploring the west a lot over the last few years (we're avid hikers). I'm so happy that we found this lovely B & B! The owners, Gordon and Leah, are so warm and friendly. The property is beautiful and extremely comfortable (the bed was super-comfy, and the shower was amazing!). And the location is perfect--right on the main street of Red Lodge--a short walking distance to several restaurants, including the Bridge Creek Inn (honestly, some of the best food I've ever eaten). And you won't want to miss Leah's scrumptuous breakfasts--we were served oatmeal-walnut pancakes with orange syrup one morning, and some kind of apple streudel french toast the next! I cannot recommend this B & B more highly!
