I was very disappointed with the Pollard as a whole. We were planning a company party, but with the economy, we had to change our plans. I had called the Pollard to make reservations, which was almost impossible. I guess if you are renting more then 1 room you must to speak with someone other then the front desk. The Pollard finally contacted me and we made reservations. Along with the reservations I signed a contract. Which states "Rooms cancelled prior to 14 days of arrival are subject to a $25.00 processing fee." Unfortunately I did not read this closely enough in the beginning. When I called to cancel our reservations, I gave them thirty days notice, so I was charged $375.00. I should have waited until 13 days before our scheduled arrival date. Hence the wording in their contract. So I confronted them about their unathorized charges and about their contract. A member of the staff informed me that is not what they meant. They meant to say was, "Rooms cancelled after 14 days of the arrival date, will be charged $25.00 per room." I then countered "but I am cancelling before 14 days!" This continued on, making their staff and business, look very uneducated and rude. I can't belive this kind a crooked business is going on in our beautiful state. Montanans are known for their honesty and hard work, not for ripping people off!! If you have...I was very disappointed with the Pollard as a whole.
