Made a reservation before leaving home as we were on a motorcycle coming a long way and did not want to be caught without a room when we got to Red lodge. The motel is exactly as advertised, 1960 decor, extremely clean, quiet even though on the Main Street and and the front little balcony is great to relax and watch the rest if the world go by. You definatly want an upper room however, the lower floor rooms look a little dark, however nice benches are provided outside to sit on if you want. Will continue to stay there when we pass through again. Great little motel for bikers, etc,

Room Tip: Try fir upper level.

An older motel that was spic and span! Lovely owners too! Front and back porches for easy access. Great to walk to downtown down breakfast and Dinner. Microwave, fridge, coffee pot were a plus too. The only negative for us was the shower door was not easy to open and close. I might be a wimp though!

Great value, central location and welcoming, informed owners/staff who went out if their way to be helpful. Good sized rooms with comfy beds, perfect to collapse on, as we did, after a full day's skiing. Plenty of space and hooks to hang and dry out skis, boots, clothes and gear. Handy parking directly outside room.

The communal hot tub is well worth a look and the in-room steam bath is a revelation and a real treat!

Great ski-pass discount available when booking and at front desk.

Room Tip: Worth spending a little extra on a superior rather than a basic room as the latter is somewhat subte...

We stayed July 3rd. Even though the property is on Broadway, (the main street through town), our room was quiet. Nice to have a refrigerator & coffee in the room as well. The room had 1 queen, 1 double & a twin bed in it, we only needed 1 bed, but this would be nice for families.

We loved this little place, great price, clean rooms which included a fridge! No air conditioning, but the ceiling fan was plenty for us. Got a cute little care package with snack and a sewing kit in it. The office lady was very nice, helpful with whatever we needed. It a not so busy part of town, nice quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay there, and would stay again.

We stayed in #2 on lower level. I remember thinking how safe I would feel if the bomb were dropped. And after the steam bath and comfy but firmish sleep I would've cared. The only disappoint that sticks out is the ceaser salad from the carbon county steak house.

This is an older but comfortable motel and good to stay at when traveling over Beartooth Highway. Red Lodge is a darling little town with lots of modern touches. The Yodeler could use a little upgrade to modernize it too. Great beds but need to upgrade their WIFI. Steam shower is nice but seems old. Price is a little high ($140 for 2 Q), but in a small, touristy town this is what you have to pay. Friendly host/owner, very helpful when choosing restaurants.

Room Tip: Go with the upper rooms. Lower are in the basement.

Thank you for the review. We are always trying to update our hotel each year, being corporate free sometimes makes that a little challenging but we value your input. Being in a mountain town WIFI can be a interesting to say the least we do however have a new router to help with some issues, we do hope that our guest would be patient with it and enjoy their relaxing time while they are here on vacation :-)
We look forward to having you stay with us again in the future.
