My wife and I stayed here for one night the room was clean and comfortable. We did notice a slight musty smell in the room and we did not like being below ground level. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. For longer stays would look for something a little better.

Stayed: July 2014, travelled as a couple

Thank you for writing a review. Sorry to hear that your room wasn't all that you had hoped it would be. We will definitely look into what might be causing musty smell as this is not something that we would like guests to experience. The rooms on the below ground level are a little quirky, this hotel used to be apartments for the miners back in the day and then got converted to a hotel. We look forward to you staying with us again and checking out improvements that we have made. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our hotel and thank you for your input.

Made a reservation before leaving home as we were on a motorcycle coming a long way and did not want to be caught without a room when we got to Red lodge. The motel is exactly as advertised, 1960 decor, extremely clean, quiet even though on the Main Street and and the front little balcony is great to relax and watch the rest if the world go by. You definatly want an upper room however, the lower floor rooms look a little dark, however nice benches are provided outside to sit on if you want. Will continue to stay there when we pass through again. Great little motel for bikers, etc,

Room Tip: Try fir upper level.

An older motel that was spic and span! Lovely owners too! Front and back porches for easy access. Great to walk to downtown down breakfast and Dinner. Microwave, fridge, coffee pot were a plus too. The only negative for us was the shower door was not easy to open and close. I might be a wimp though!

Great value, central location and welcoming, informed owners/staff who went out if their way to be helpful. Good sized rooms with comfy beds, perfect to collapse on, as we did, after a full day's skiing. Plenty of space and hooks to hang and dry out skis, boots, clothes and gear. Handy parking directly outside room.

The communal hot tub is well worth a look and the in-room steam bath is a revelation and a real treat!

Great ski-pass discount available when booking and at front desk.

Room Tip: Worth spending a little extra on a superior rather than a basic room as the latter is somewhat subterranean!

We stayed July 3rd. Even though the property is on Broadway, (the main street through town), our room was quiet. Nice to have a refrigerator & coffee in the room as well. The room had 1 queen, 1 double & a twin bed in it, we only needed 1 bed, but this would be nice for families.
