“Reasonably priced, peaceful, and great service!”
Reviewed 3 July 2013

We stayed in one of the tent sites, which offered a peaceful, shady, well-set-up area that was within walking distance of the bathrooms and showers. The service was fantastic: we arrived late in the evening to a message on the board addressed to us, including a map to our site. They deliver firewood to your site upon request (the cost is pretty good for the amount of wood you're receiving), and the Wi-Fi extended to the furthest site from the office. We stayed there during Brothel Days so there was a number of activities going on in the area. The activities were not only posted on a board near the bathrooms, but the camp hostess filled us in on all the other options available not only in that area, but in Yellowstone Park as well. The showers have great pressure, and in general the facilities are very well kept. We'll definitely be staying here again in the future, and recommend this site to everyone else travelling with a tent, RV, or wanting to stay in a cabin.

Room Tip: If you're tenting, sites 21 and 22 offer the most shade and tree cover.

The RV park is not only extremely reasonable but very clean. The bathrooms and the showers are emasculate. The roads are well kept and the campsites are nice. We even had internet service!!! The camp host is adorable, she gave us the spill on Virginia City and the must sees.

Virginia City is the cutest little place ever. There is a mixture of restored historical exhibits and functioning businesses. I suggest the fire truck tour and definitely get an old time photo. I suggest spending at least two days. There is so much to see and do here.

This is our second trip to Montana and I am amazed at the hospitality of the residents. We are already planning a trip for next year.

We really enjoyed styaying here! The park host was wonderful and the grounds were well kept. We had a back in site and there was pleanty of room for the kids and dog to run around with pleanty of space. The facilities (shower, bathroom)were emmaculate! The person who runs this RV park actually cares about how comfortable you are! We sat down in the evening and viewed the most beautiful sunset. My only complaint is that the only stayed one night. If we head that way again we will definately stay 2 or 3 to really appreciate the area and old towns. Alot to do and see!

I had read a review that there were year-round residents that were noisy, etc. So I was prepared for something negative.

Very pleasantly surprised. I think someone turned on a stereo for a while around 8pm, and it was off in about 20 minutes.

Very clean. Very low key. Really nice amenities: Small restaurant serving meals, very complete store, some of the spots had a very nice view of the distant mountains. It looks like they have some small cabins that can be rented.

A couple of blocks from the main drag in Virginia City. A couple of blocks from the arena where they held the camel races. A block away from the historic cemetery.

Dogs were welcome and not an issue. The people next to us had a cat that was very cool, popping in and out of their rig. There were places where we could walk our dogs.

Full hookups so that we could leave the dogs in the air conditioning in the rig while we went to the camel races.

The town is dog friendly, so we walked our dogs up and down the main drag. The Delta saloon said that they could come in while we gambled.

It looks like they also have shuttles that run through the town. However, I would check on this. We walked everywhere even though we had a car.

They have some tent camping spots too.

We had a great time, and wouldn't hesitate to return to this park.
