West Yellowstone is a tourist town. They cater to visitors to Yellowstone National Park. We were there in August of 2013 and went to see "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". The actors in the show were fantastic. They brought tremendous energy to the stage, and had a lot of talent. They made the whole thing fun.
The theatre, on the other hand, was very old. The sound system was flaky when we were there, which meant that we missed some dialog. We also had the misfortune to sit in one of the back rows - DON'T. If you go, get seats in the first 3 or 4 rows. After that, the speakers and stuff hanging down from the ceiling will block your view.
It also got VERY warm in the theatre - dress in layers.
On the whole? I'd go again, get seats in rows 1,2, or 3 and wear layers.
