Thank you for choosing to stay with us. Unfortunately since many hotels in the area do not allow pets, we have made an effort to create an environment where pet owners can feel comfortable bringing their four legged family members along without creating issues for those who may not be as receptive or have allergies to pets. As you probably noticed, we maintain our third floor as pet free and offer first floor rooms with additional outside entrances which are preferred by pet owners. As pet owners ourselves, we keep a jar of treats on hand at all times and started creating a list of our guest's pet names and addresses a few years ago so we could send them Christmas cards just to let them know that we appreciate them and hope that they come back too. We're glad to hear that you got a kick out of it.. Thanks for letting us know.

This is the second year we've spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Kelly Inn, while partaking in the West Yellowstone XC Ski Festival. We just love the place. It's an amazing value.

The rooms are super clean, comfortable and newly updated. We have rented the King Jacuzzi Suite both years and spent a lot of time in the room hanging out, playing cards, watching movies and even eating our meals. The kitchenette (microwave, fridge, sink, cupboards) is very handy for families who don't want to eat out for every meal. However, breakfast is more than adequate every morning too.

The staff is always very friendly and wiling to go out of its way for guests. The hotel lobby is very clean, as well.

There was even a wax room area set up for the XC skiers staying at the hotel.

We will be back next year! My husband and I strongly recommend the Kelly Inn to all families, couples and even singles traveling who are staying in West Yellowstone.

Room Tip: King Suite with Jacuzzi Tub was very spacious and has a great kitchenette area

Thank you for the nice comments. Since we are so far from our home and family back in Indiana, our annual Thanksgiving ski event has become like having family come to our home every year. We have been hosting the 100 plus participant Deluth ski team for many years now and this is the second year in a row that we have opened up our ClubHouse Inn next door to enable them to have the entire hotel to themselves. That has created more space for the many other families who have made Thanksgiving at Kelly part of their annual family tradition. It's our biggest event of the year. We actually enjoy the holiday week as much as our guests do. We are adding groups from new parts of the country every year now that we created the additional space so we open our kitchen and common areas for those who wish to prepare and enjoy their own Thanksgiving meals here. We're glad that you have now joined our growing list of regulars and hope that your family and friends will continue to enjoy Thanksgiving at Kelly for years to come.

We were obviously visiting Yellowstone so we stayed in the Kelly Inn and were delighted with our stay. Was lovely! Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Any queries, they were happy to help. Rooms are nice. We stayed in a double room with two beds between three of us. Very comfortable and spotless. Housekeeping really kept our room very neat and tidy. The pool facilities are also good. Bit small but good.
The breakfast in the morning was great. I always had the scrambled eggs with sausages. Teas and coffee available too. If I returned to Yellowstone I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to people.

Thank you for the nice review of your visit last June. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. The greatest compliment for us and our entire staff is to hear that you would choose to stay with us again. Thank you for taking the time to let us know. We hope that some day you will have the opportunity to visit Yellowstone in the winter season to go snowmobiling or take a snow coach ride through the park. Winter in Yellowstone is a unique and wonderful experience and a real bargain compared to the summer season. Just give us a call and we'll be glad to make the arrangments.

Kelly Inn was the perfect place for our visit to Yellowstone the last weekend of the season. Good recommendations for meals from the desk clerk and a good breakfast each morning. Lots of information about Yellowstone available also. Our room was very quiet and comfortable.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review of your stay with us. It's always nice to see other fellow Hoosiers find their way into our newly adopted wilderness home. We hope the weather didn't interfere with your plans and that you enjoyed your visit to Yellowstone during the last few days of the season. We would recommend a little earlier in the Fall season on your nxt visit now that we can be reasonably assured that Congress won't be shutting down the National Parks again. Late September or early October are beautiful here before the early snows shut down the higher elevations.

We were pleased with the room. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was exceptionally good with numerous choices. Location was easy to find as right behind the McDonald's Restaurant in town.

Fine for the price ($90). The location was good - very close to the entrance to Yellowstone, down a quiet street. The room was adequate. There was only one night stand, so one of the two chairs was pressed into night stand duty. There was no couch or comfortable chair, leaving the remaining dining room type chair or the bed as the only place to sit.

The breakfast was edible (powdered scrambled eggs), but next time I would spring for eating out.

For overnight as a point of departure, an adequate accommodation.

Room Tip: We opted for the third floor (no pets allowed), and it was very peaceful.

Thanks for choosing to stay with us on your recnet visit from Idaho Falls and for submitting a review of your stay. From your review it sounds like you chose our lowest rate standard Double Queen bed room but would probably have been much happier with one step up to our Double King bed choice for only $10 more. It is a much bigger room which accomodates 2 King size beds, 4 night stands and an easy chair with an ottoman plus the table and two chairs found in every room. Unfortunately, because our new lodge style log furnishings are so much more massive than typical standard hotel furniture, the standard double queen rooms are two crowded to accomodate so much furniture. We also have several other room choices for those who prefer even more space.

We're sory to hear that you were less than impressed with the eggs served in our free breakfast service. As our signage explains, since we are not a restaurant, we are not permitted by our state and county law to prepare and serve fresh raw eggs or meats. However, just because we are restricted to serve only precooked egg or meat products we would never serve powdered eggs. We currently use a very unique new commercial grade product which consists of 100% real eggs that are simply precooked srambled, homogenized and refrigerated and packed in vacuum sealed bags for freshness. We also serve hard boiled real eggs and rotate our hot selections to include omelets, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, corned beef hash, link sausage, and maple sausage patties in addition to our every day standards of hot pancakes, make your own yogurt parfaits, cut fruit, berries, pastries, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, 4 types of cold cereal, bagels, toast and 2 juices, flavored water, coffee or tea. Of course no matter how much variety we offer, there will always be guests who prefer to order their own breakfast choice at a local restaurant and we are always happy to make recommendations. One of the most frequent questions we get asked is about good places to eat so we keep a book at our front desk with current menues for most restaurants in town which we are happy to lend out upon request. Since you are from a neighboring community we hope that you will have the oportunity to visit the area frequently and will choose to stay with us again when you need overnight accomodations.

My husband and I were down in the park to celebrate our anniversary - hiking and fly fishing and dinner out. This was post government shut down, which really hurt the entry towns.... many businesses had shut down and it wasn't worth opening for the couple of weeks left of the summer season. The Kelly Inn was open and I'm glad I chose it. While making the reservation, Candace offered to put us on the third floor so it would be quiet, but knowing it was off season it wasn't necessary. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated in western lodge style. Our room was of a good size, had two comfortable queen beds, large tv, decent shower. Being close to the end of the season (Oct 24), the park, town and hotel were quiet. We shared the jacuzzi and pool with one other couple. The pool area is very nice and well kept. The staff was all very friendly from reservation through to check out. Better breakfast than other hotels we've stayed at in town - scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, pancakes plus the typical toast, muffins, pastries, cereals. Located right across from the Grizzly Discovery Center and easy walk to all restaurants. This will be my first choice for nights in West Yellowstone from here out!

Room Tip: Firxt floor rooms have entry doors from the parking lot as well as into the hotel interior - conveni...

Thanks for coming to visit us during the government shut down. We appreciated your business during such an unfortunate time. That no-warning shut down of Yellowstone took a major toll on every business in West Yellowstone and every other town around the park but we stayed open to keep our employees paid and to accomodate those travelers who were already on their way and had no where else to go. Due to the unusual nature of the situation we chose to suspend our cancellation policy for that period and cancelled hundreds of reservations at the last minute with no penalties at a tremendous loss to the business. It was certainly a memorable time for us but gave us a chance to take the time to get to know our guests and fellow business people and for everyone to share frustrations in harmony. We certainly hope that it was a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you for reminding us that we were still able to make a few guests happy and that we might have gained a new loyal customer. Now that you know our hotel and are not far away, we hope that you will return and visit us again in the reasonable seasons when things in Yellowstone are back to normal.
