“Nice, clean place with a great location”
Reviewed 27 June 2014 via mobile

We paid $190 for a two bed, good sized room. It was clean and the TV worked great (a struggle on much of our two week drive trip :) West Yellowstone is right outside of Yellowstone National Park. The town is very walkable. It has a bunch of local restaurants which we like. Although, $190 is a lot for this hotel, you are paying for the location. Moose Creek Inn is off the main drag so it is quiet. Our room was big and very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Staff were very nice. The rooms were done very rustic, super nice. Bed comfortable, room clean. Our group spent the evening in the court yard, ordered pizza and just had fun. Coffee available in the lounge with a variety of flavors-nice! It was pricey, a nice stay.

We had a nice 3 day stay at the Moose Creek Inn. The Room was clean with enough space, Bed was comfortable, Bathroom had everything you need. No noises from other rooms. WIFi worked well. Price was really OK for West Yellowstone. Would book here again!

Hotel is off the main street which is nice and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but clean and have been recently redone. The carpet was new and the bath was new. The shower is really small. Price was good for Yellowstone and you can walk to the downtown are where there are plenty of places to eat. Beds were good but pillows weren't great

We stayed in the cabin for 5 nights what a wonderful surprise!! Great place! It was a perfect place for us and our friends to stay. We had lots of room and a really nice kitchen and living room! Very clean! It was nice because we were able to get grocery and make our own breakfast and lunch. Nice surprise was a washer and dryer! Our friends from France were with us and we really enjoyed our stay there! Definitely worth the price! Every morning I would go to the office and the girl ( I believe her parents owned the hotel) would give us a fresh brewed pot of coffee! Nice place if you have a family or friends who want to socialize. We stayed downstairs and our friend had the upstairs. Bathrooms were very clean... Just a great place to stay and close to the park!

We stayed for a night in a ground floor room. It was clean and comfortable, equipped with standard stuff. Service was friendly, got good honest tips about where to eat and what to expect. The room door and window opened to the inner yard parking, but it did not bother us as the traffic was minimal. Beds and linen were nice and comfy, no problems there. The only downside was the price, we paid over double compared to our previous similar quality inn in Bozeman, but that's how it is in a tourist location.

The positive: Clean, nice rustic but spare furniture, comfortable king bed.
Room: I recommend room 201 (where we stayed) since the door is at the end of the balcony and nobody walks by, therefore more private. This allowed us to open the door when we needed fresh air as well as the curtains to allow light in.
What can make it difficult for several nights:
Very small space. Since our longest stay (3 nights) was in this hotel, I was looking forward to unpack and get organized, after living out of my suitcase. Well, I was disappointed. There were 4 hangers on the only metal structure designed for clothes. Fortunately the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and brought up about 8 more hangers.
Simple changes can be easily implemented to make guest more comfortable.
Bath area.
It would not take much to add a couple of hooks to hang clothes while in the tiny bathroom. (At this moment there are none.)
How I would have loved to have another light besides the bright one over the sink since when it is on, the loud ventilation comes on automatically. After a while, I find it tiring.
A light in the table area by the mirror would be so helpful and lowering the mirror that seems to be appropriate for very tall people only.

Room Tip: I recommend room 201 (where we stayed) since the door is at the end of the balcony and nobody walks...
