I always make it a point to eat here when travelling in West Yellowstone. In fact, we ate breakfast here every day during our stay we like it so much. One point is that we are late risers. Eating breakfast at noon or even 1PM is common for us on weekends/vacation, and the Running Bear accommodates by serving breakfast until they close at 2PM. That aside, the food is wonderful. I had a whole assortment of things like biscuits and gravy, ham steak, buckwheat pancakes, cinnamon roll, and everything was great. Price is about what I would expect for a decent sit down breakfast. Judging from the prices at the supermarket in West Yellowstone food seems to be very expensive compared to what we pay in the southeastern US. Given that I am very happy with what I paid for my meals. If you like a good home cooked breakfast you won't be disappointed with this place.
