Stayed 3 nights in hotel part of lodge. Room was a bit wormed, and the heater/AC unit was extremely noisy. Our friends room had a roof leak that entered their room and got clothing wet. The hotel only gave them a $20 discount. While there we found a better hotel that included breakfast for only $6 more a night. We won't stay in 3 bears again.

Room Tip: Customer service was a bit rude.

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Three Bears Lodge for two nights. We had booked a Motorcoach tour into the Park. We found the motel pleasant and clean. The meals were great!
However, the trip into the park with your driver/guide was a real treat. Raya was her name.
She was very professional and really enjoyed showing us the park. She needs to be commended! There were two young kids with the group. Raya made sure they had a great educational opportunity. Let her drive the new motorcoach!

Husband and I stayed 3 nights at Three Bear Lodge in their motel accommodations. (This is our 2nd stay in this motel). Wonderful room with rustic furniture that was made out of salvaged wood from their unfortunate 2008 fire. We stayed in the king room with Jacuzzi tub which was clean, warm and quiet. Personnel were very helpful and friendly. Lobby is gorgeous with a huge rock fireplace and several animal mounts. We booked our snow coach tour with BackCountry adventures and will stay with Three Bear when we return again.

We used Three Bear Lodge in West Yellowstone, MT for our lodging and meals when taking a one day trip into The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone National Park. Our room in the motel part of the facility was clean and large with 2 queen beds and obviously recently refurbished bath. We ate meals at the restaurant and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We made reservations through the Lodge to go in by snow coach to the canyon. We purchased box lunches, (very ample portions and very reasonably priced) and and could have even rented cold weather clothing if we needed. All our needs were met and we were most pleased with Three Bears Lodge.

Room Tip: We stayed in the motel part.

We traveled to West Yellowstone for a winter snowcoach tour into the national park, staying at the Three Bear Lodge for one night. Our room was simple, but comfortable with two queen beds with lots of pillows, enough space for us to spread out a bit, good water pressure in the shower, and clean. The bedding appeared to be new or newer, so I did not experience the dated feeling of other reviewers. The beds were firm for my preference, but we both slept reasonably well. We were in room 502. Everyone working there was very pleasant and helpful. It was only one night, but I would not hesitate to stay there again.

We were late booking a place to stay inside the Park at Yellowstone, so our choices were limited and we though this would work. Original EVERYTHING! Worn carpets, cheesy polyester bedspreads, soft mattresses, noisy bathroom vent. The closet door was ripped out to make a 'kitchenette" consisting of a mini-fridge with a coffee maker on top. We travelled throughout Wyoming and Montana this summer, and hands down, this was the POOREST choice we made.

The front desk was courteous, but anywhere else in the country, this would be a $39/night motel. The only reason they can command the prices they do is the proximity to the park and lack of anywhere else to stay nearby.

Very good experience. Location is great. Close to everything. Staff was very friendly and accommodative. Rooms had rustic atmosphere but it was very comfortable and clean (as in 3 star hotel). Will definitely stay here again when we plan yellowstone next year hopefully.
