“A nice stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014 via mobile

We stayed in the lodge part of the hotel, above the lobby. The staff was very nice. Our room was clean and spacious. We liked that it was family owned, and the pride of ownership and philosophy of conservation was on display. It was conveniently located in town and to the Park.

We stayed in the motel part of the place. It was clean, updated and had everything we needed. I loved that we were a step away from the main street. Shopping and food was so close. I agree the place can be pricey but i got a GREAT deal by booking with a outside party ( expedia ) I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our room, for the most part, at Three Bear Lodge. We were in the remodeled older section of the hotel. Our room was designed so that it is entered directly from the back parking lot. A separate kids' room with a double bed was walled in and had its own door. Across the hall from the walled-off kids room is the bathroom, and then the hallway leads directly into the master bedroom. What this room really needed was for the master bedroom to have its own door to separate it from the hallway. (Parents who want some privacy from the kids don't exactly have it, but the kids certainly have privacy from the parents). Microwave and fridge were hidden in the closet in the master bedroom, and I didn't discover these until Day 2--I wish I had seen them on Day 1. But I'm glad they were available.

Easy to find, friendly service, room was spacious & average.
Felt it was very overpriced. However it was very close to the Yellowstone Park entrance. Their restaurant and lounge were nice - ez to walk to restaurants in the town.

We stayed in the motel part of this lodge. There was a very narrow alley and we were driving a big car so it was hard to park. The outside of it doesn't look promising but once you get inside it is ok. I think it was way too overpriced for what it was.

We stayed for three nights whilst visiting Yellowstone. The location is great, right next to the park entrance and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff were helpful. Our only comment would be that it seemed a bit overpriced for what it was, but this could be due to the location. Would we stay again? Hmm, not sure.
