“Moose Creek Inn-A True Delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2012

We stayed at the Inn and loved it. Cozy, comfy, clean rooms with a friendly and accommodating staff. Delicious coffee and muffins in the morning. Walking distance to the center of town and very close to the entrance of Yellowstone Park. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we return.

Room Tip: I'd suggest the 2nd floor, just because it's quieter. I've read some reviews that mentio...

This is a 2 star place, at best, for the price of a 4 star. All rooms in West Yellowstone are, probably, over priced. This room was small, the bath smaller, decor was very old, and no breakfast. It was 2 blocks off the main drag. On the positive, the bed was decent, it had a frige & microwave, and WiFi (but I had to fool with it for 15 minutes to get it to work). This place could not exist except for Yellowstone National Park.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write a review. Moose Creek Cabins is an older property built in the 1950's and was remodeled to fit the area which includes the decor. As an older property without amenities as a larger hotel, we are a 2 star property. Our prices do try to stay about one half the price of a chain hotel for our area. We do not offer breakfast but we do have coffee and muffins for our guests as something to get you started in the morning.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, comfortable bed, easy parking, walking distance to the main drag of town, located on a side street so very quiet setting, terrific coffee bar in the morning, our room had a great air conditioner too. Only downside is they don't accept pets which wasn't an issue this trip, however, could pose a problem for me in the future. If they did, I would stay here every time I visit West Yellowstone.

This was a surprisingly nice place to stop. The room was very clean but smallish with fridge etc. The staff were very friendly with a good basic breakfast included. The Inn was closly situated near all the shops etc but just off the main street so was pleasantly quiet.

We stayed one night in a lodge room. Very clean and cozy! Only negative was the tiny tiny shower. Very comfortable bed, small frig and microwave which was perfect for what we needed for one night. Air conditoner as well but did not need it at night. Overall a nice place and would stay again.

We spent 3 nights in the Bison Cabin in late June. There was a separate bedroom for one bed, the other is in the living space. We were three adults, any more people would have been too many. The kitchen though small served its purpose, we did not eat out at all. The shower is not overly large, so if any of you are above average size it will be tight. When the weather started to get warm an air conditioner appeared in the cabin while we were out exploring Yellowstone Park. The cabins are 2 blocks from a grocery store and easy walking to other shopping if you want it. The cabins were pretty much exactly what I expected. Not overly large, but functional.

I came on short notice to Yellow Stone with my 15 year old son and wanted to wing it and not plan our journey. So.. we stayed at the Stone Inn and a few others places close by. I was ok with the other places. However, The Moose Creek was by far the place that had character and a sense of individuality. My wife does not like a lot of places.. However this place... I would love to show her the special touch of a women by all details and comfort someone has put into this Inn.

We were visited by a women that came by and asked us about our stay. I asked her if she was the owner?... and she said yes. I knew that she had the passion to ensure our stay was the best. I would highly recommend this place in so many ways.

The character and love that each cabin has is worth every penny. If you are here on a budget? You will fill find that they have prices that are comparable around the surrounding blocks. You don't want to skimp on prices and not enjoy your experience.

Thank you Moose Creek for the wonderful experience!!
