“Worked for us.”
Reviewed 3 December 2013

We stayed here the first week in September. Of the choices left for a room around $100 this was the best. The room was relatively small for the amount of furniture it had. The table worked great as a desk and WiFi was good. The bathroom and shower were really small. Everything was very clean. We left the window and bathroom window open and ran the floor fan and had no problem getting a good night's sleep. We used the kitchen. Yes, there is a sign threatening a $50 fine if you don't leave the kitchen clean. I have never come across anything like that and doubt if that is enforceable. The owner was very friendly and they even found some coffee for us. There are some restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.

The room was clean, bathroom clean, probably because they remodeled their room recently.

However, do not expect any quality of service. The owner was unfriendly, rude, and usually not staying in his office. IF YOU BOOKED A ROOM WITH KITCHEN, EXPECT A $50 CHARGE WHEN YOU CHECK OUT UNLESS YOU CLEAN THE KITCHEN SUPER SUPER SHINY. Not even a dirt on the stove is accepted.

Considering this is a tourist place people here are lacking costumer service! Maaan! They're terrible. Makes you feel like they don't like costumers or they're just not happy with their jobs. However, the rooms are clean but there's no airconditioning unit. They provided us a fan which didn't help. We felt like we were cheated. We paid $130+ without aircondition. We didn't sleep well and the staff are not helpful and rude. Do not stay here!!!

No phone, no hair dryer (but who needs one to hike?) and no one needs a phone. Clean, comfortable and very reasonable. Close to everything. Proprietors are very nice. We had wireless and TV which were not used more than 30 minutes anyway. If you are looking for a place to doll yourself up (for the bears and moose) this is not your place. If you want a safe, clean place to stow your gear during your time in the park, don't spend a fortune; stay here. There are plenty of upscale places around, -- so pick one, but this was perfect for us!

Room Tip: Got the room a month before our trip probably because of the amenity factor, but if you don't wa...

We stay at this hotel 2 or 3 times a year. Great value. Not the nicest rooms in town, but then you're not at Yellowstone to stay in your room! Beds are very comfortable. Hotel reception staff is very nice and they remember you.

I don't know if it was the fact that I was scalded three time in the shower followed by cold water. The lack of a fan or hair dryer. The TV did not face the bed but there was one chair for my husband and I to share if we wanted to watch it. But the topper was when they told me that even though we had a coffee maker in our room we would have to provide our own coffee. We paid 111.00 for the room.

Room Tip: Choose somewhere else.
