“Push Forward”
Reviewed 19 July 2013 via mobile

I have to admit that when we pulled up to the hotel it looked really old compared to the other inns in the area. I pushed forward even though I was thinking that I might see if there was a room available in the newer inns. I walked into the lobby and it is not like any other Best Western lobby's that I have seen before. The lobby was small and hot. I asked the clerk if they had air conditioning and he replied that they do in the rooms..I replied okay pushed forward..I must admit, the room was a surprise. The amenities worked, room clean and the bed was comfortable. You do hear every noise outside and in the next room. However, it was not bad and did not keep us awake. The pool and spa are okay. Now let me tell you about the breakfast...The breakfast was fantastic! The food was fresh and really good. For breakfast they had us sitting in the lobby and outside in front of the lobby it was very comfortable. So, if you want a good safe and clean place to stay after a day in Yellowstone you will do well to stay here and wake up to a great breakfast!

We stayed in this hotel for couple of night during our trip in Yellowstone National park. The location of this hotel is outstanding the Harpreet at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast was good as well. On the cons I would say that the we stayed in a building little far from the checking and breakfast area. I wish the building could have elevator. The room were clean but little expensive. Paying more than $200 a night we expected lttle more. The worst part of this hotel is the wifi speed. Dont even try to connect to wi fi.

This Best Western has a great location, rooms, breakfast and staff. I've returned there every summer for the past 13-15 years and they keep getting better. I'll stay there next year. HOWEVER, be forewarned, it appears that since the town of West Yellowstone, MT only has DSL service, wifi internet access gets overwhelmed and is awful everywhere in town.

We stayed here based on a recommendation. Will never use their recommendation again! Wish we would have checked trip advisor first. Hotel is very outdated! We would have switched hotels when we pulled up because it was so scary, but were past cancelation time. Room was horribly outdated and not very clean. TV had a layer of dust which made me wonder how clean the rest of the room was. Hallway carpeting was filthy. Sheets felt like sandpaper. This may have been acceptable if this was a cheap motel but it was $220 a night! They should be embarrassed to charge that kind of money for this dump! Were supposed to stay two nights but checked out the next day and moved to a much nicer hotel on the other side of town.

Thank you for your review, we will you your comments to our house keeping staff to improve
our service. Regards the price of the hotel , we charge our rates in line with other hotels in theve town. We have been updating our rooms and we will be doing more updates for next year, this year we installed LG TV's in all rooms.

We reserved the hotel about 2 weeks in advance of our trip. The cost was $200/night. It was a typical room with 2 queen beds, bathroom, small fridge and microwave, TV. Breakfast in the morning was good - rather basic and not enough room in the eating area, but we went early and it was fine. Pretty basic room, clean, beds comfortable. Overall, just fine except the price is pretty high. But I supposed that's the going rate for the town at this time of year.

The office staff and general manager were very pleasant. The rooms were quiet, beds comfortable Breakfast was great. Not too far from Yellowstone, where the prices were very high for lodging. Laundry convenient right across the street. Only negative was we had to leave towels on the floor to get them changed and beds were not made every day. Otherwise a very pleasant stay. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Advise with reservation if you want a first or second floor room.
