We recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on a snowmobiling trip. I booked with this hotel specifically because we stayed here a few years ago on a similar trip and it was great and they set us up with an affordable snowmobiling package. While this hotel is still affordable, it has lost some of it's shine. Lets start with the staff. Sub par on a good day. They dress like they just rolled out of bed and threw on their best sweatpants to head off to work. The main hotel clerk did work some very long hours, 8am to at least midnight on one day. I came into the lobby one day looking for help and did not initially see anyone. She was laying her head on the counter either texting, playing a video game or sleeping, I could not tell. The hotel has an attached bar and because of that was very smoky throughout including our non-smoking room. Our room was ok. It was neither dirty nor exceptionally clean at the same time. It did smell at little stale too but not enough to change rooms. The beds are springs with a thin wrap of fabric around them. They were not comfortable and cut off circulation to my extremities throughout the night. There were 3 things that I did really like about this hotel; 1-The shower head had a lot of pressure and put out a lot of water. 2-The continental breakfast was more extensive than most. Including Bagels, Muffins, Pancakes, cereal, yogurt juice and you could even make your own fresh waffles, that were very good. 3-Although the bar provided lots of smoke, it also provided lots of entertainment. There was a live musician playing, a pool table and the only poker table in town. The bartenders were also very friendly and accommodating. The next time I go snowmobiling I will book my own package. Call Two Top to book your sleds they are awesome. I will also take my chances at another hotel.

We stayed in the new section, of this hotel, for the past two days. We were pleased with the fairly new funiture in the room. The bed was very comfy, a king bed. The bathroom was clean, and nice hot water, with great pressure in the shower. The heated underground parking garage, was much appreciated, when you`re travelling in Dec., in the snow! This place was very quiet, and they opened up the restaurant area early, so that we could eat breakfast prior to our bus tour of Yellowstone Park. We got a great rate too, about half the price of other West Yellowstone hotels/motels.

We booked our room through the hotel's web site and paid $105 after a 10% online discount.

The room was very small, very dusty (especially the walls), and overall appeared worn down and dirty. The bathroom was small, smelled funky, but appeared clean.

Scariest of all was the amount of extension cords. There must have been ten different things plugged into one outlet behind our bed. The nest of extension cords hadn't been moved to vacuum for who knows how long, and the dust and debris build up was plain disgusting. The extension cord mess was duplicated next to the television as well. It was difficult, and probably dangerous, to plug in something as simple as a cell phone charger.

The front desk was not very courteous. They told us the easiest way to our room was up the main stairs and did not mention an elevator. Parking was very limited. Those two factors, combined with hauling a ton of overnight gear for two adults and one infant, I have to say I got my exercise for the week.

They locked the room for the vending machines at 10pm which was inconvenient. No ice, no pop/water and no snacks until morning. The snack machine was out of order anyways.

The heater/AC unit in the room did not work properly. It was either blowing very hot or very cold no matter what setting we tried.

I would rather stay in my truck in the parking lot, if a space were available, than stay here again.

New Section is Great -- We contacted the hotel directly and the clerk informed us about the new vs the old section. The new section was spacious and clean. We never took a look at the old section above the bar. We had to pay more for the newer section.

The room was very large but not clean. We found peanuts on the carpeting...obviously not carefully cleaned when we first arrived. The shower was very old and the caulk was all black with mildew. The breakfast was not watched by any staff so most of the food was not replaced as it was used up. The windows, doors etc were very dirty. I actually cleaned a table myself so we could sit down and eat. For the price this hotel is definetly not worth it...go somewhere else. Also the desk staff was unfriendly and uninterested in the guests.

This hotel was horrible. Room directly over restaurant and bar - reeked of smoke and cooking grease. Mice in lobby. Front desk staff dressed like they live in a cardboard box. Front desk person even used the F word when describing his morning. Told staff that mice were in the lobby and our response was "yeah, we know".

We traveled the Yellowstone and Tetons and found this hotel to be very friendly, clean and nice location. Our room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was clean and the food was great, not overpriced for the area. We had a great continental breakfast with make your own waffles and all the fixings.
