Hotel a bit pricey for what is offered. We had the room nearest the front and it was very loud in the morning. Breakfast was good, lots of options...biscuits and gravy, pancakes, boiled eggs, yogurt with berries, bagels, English muffins, toast, cereal, oatmeal, juices, coffee, hot chocolate and water. Best part of our stay was Ms Jodi! She was so sweet attending the breakfast area. She was so accommodating and personable. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied! We have 4 children and she treated them all as if they were hers!

The hotel is very close to the west entrance of Yellowstone Park. Upon checking in, we were told by the frond desk staff that we will never disapporinted to stay here. It was true to his word. The room is very clean. The staff in the Inn were very nice and helpful. The breakfast is ok.

My wife and I needed a base to explore the west side of the park, and Clubhouse was it. We're so happy we did.

Centrally located, wel maintained, pleasant staff, comfy beds, decent breakfast, and the indoor pool and hot tub meant we were well rested and content for the next leg of our trip! The price is a bit high, but is comparable to other accommodations in the area.

We booked a King Room 36 days in advance. We received a confirmation number for a King Room. We arrived at 7:00pm to check (with a copy of our confirmation) in and we were told there were no King Rooms were available. What is the point of booking a room 36 days in advance? in 20 years of frequent traveling, we've never had this experience.

Room Tip: Not near the elevators

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay at the Clubhouse Inn. I am sorry to see that we did not have our standard king room available, that you reserved, for the night that you checked in; however, we did have a king room where the bath room was a roll in shower. Everthing else was the same just the shower different, we did offer to move you to a king deluxe room the next night at no extra charge that has a sofa and was a larger room but you turned down our offer. We did give you a $50 discount for not have the exact room you reserved.

Again, I do apologize that we did not have the exact room type you reserved and i hope you had a great trip into Yellowstone.

We arrived at the Clubhouse for our Memorial Day long weekend excursion from Calgary Alberta Canada for our 6th annual visit to Yellowstone National Park and 4th to this hotel for a two night duration. Unfortunately the service, cleanliness and overall hotel experience is getting poorer and poorer as time progresses & more expensive every year (& I'm not talking about inflation or money exchange rates). We made a simple request +/-30 days in advance during reservation booking & again at time of check-in for a "pet-free room/floor" with no smoking due to child/family allergies. Non-smoking is almost guaranteed, but seems not the no-pets. I don't have an issue with people bringing pets on their travels or hotels that provide rooms to them, but designate and distribute them accordingly please as this is not rocket science (i.e. 1st floor pet friendly; upper floors no pets or similar). We were assigned to a second floor room and low an behold at 4:00am & again at 6:05am we were awoken by large dogs barking down the hallway (we saw a guest with 2 dogs on leashes inside/out of hotel and only can assume the barks matched the dogs). Our children had puffy, watery eyes and took decongestants to ease their wows for the 2 nights of our stay. The second night had dogs barking once again at all hours. The lobby signage that advertised the "Continental Breakfast" from ~6-10am made a mockery of the providing’s on our morning #1. At 8:30am there was a very limited offering of bread & English muffins (to be toasted to ease staleness), 4 cold cereals, dry packages of oatmeal (assume hot water was available but don't want to reach beyond staff capabilities), a pancake maker with no batter, a cold crock pot of a white paste gravy?? with chucks of mystery meat protein??, no fruit (whole or cut), no yogurt, no eggs (cold boiled or otherwise) & no utensils (plastic or steel). There was no presence of dining room staff and I had to go to the front desk, which ironically had a commanding view of this state of unrest, to request cutlery to apply peanut butter on my dry toast. Garbage and debris littered the floor in the dining area & under tables and the guests were jockeying for position on the remaining food offerings that were still available. It was not very comfortable and capacity was only half full of people?? I'm not sure what was worse, the dogs barking as heard in our "no-pet room" or the breakfast offering experience?? Due to the Memorial Day weekend the hotel was full and not able to move our rooms after our reservation (documented 30 days prior) & check-in request of a pet free room. we received an email after check-out of a $25 reduction in our bill due to the mistake of being put on a 2nd floor pet floor vs. 3rd floor people floor. People are paying for the rooms.... not pets, so good business sense says you should accommodate people first and then pets. If this was advertised as a pet-friendly only hotel that all rooms could have pet residues.... then we would have found alternate accommodations. Nonsmoking rooms can be cleaned and ionized to satisfaction; presence of pets cannot be 'vacuumed out'. The electric power went out on the 2nd morning (May 24th) for the entire town of West Yellowstone and the only calls within the hotel to check on guests were from the pair of dogs down the hall. There was no assistance on each floor/hallway by staff to ensure the guests were looked after. Staff was all grouped at front desk in the light of the windows and a disaster happening once again in the dining area (with even less offerings due to power outage). The dining room fully illuminated with daylight shinging through the windows during the power outage did not shed enough light on the garbage that littered the establishment. I'm sorry to say that the degradation in service and value over our 4 year tenure of staying here topped by this horrendous experience, culminated in the 4th and last time we stay at The Clubhouse Inn or any of its affiliated properties in West Yellowstone MT. Our traditional pilgrimage will now include alternate accommodations for our family adventure. Remember..... I'm Canadian eh, so I am being very polite about our experience as it was very, very, very, very, bad.....eh?

Room Tip: If you are paying for a human people hotel room that doesn't include the presence of a previous...

Thank you for taking the time to write a response about your recent stay with us. I do apologize that we were not able to meet your needs during your stay. We did have a power outage in town that covered 20 square miles and went 50 miles away clear to Ashton, ID from 8am to 3pm. We did have multiple employees availalbe to help guests with their luggage since the elevator was not operable and staff meet periodically at the front desk to check on any items during the outage. We do get a large amount of reservations 6 months, a year in advance or sooner due to our location adjacent to Yellowstone park and try to honor as many requests as we can.

Again I do apologize that you did not ejoy your stay with us.

Definitely would recommend staying at ClubHouse Inn, West Yellowstone. Conveniently located close to entrance to Yellowstone Park. On our trip to Yellowstone, we selected hotel because it was pet friendly and had good reviews. We were very pleased with the facility. Room was large and tastefully decorated. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good with scrambled eggs and link sausage along with the other typical items. Staff replenished hot items in a timely manner. Breakfast room was large and open with plenty of tables. Hotel is within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
