Peaceful and quiet. Easy walks to the river and downtown. Coffee in your room prior to breakfast, and then a breakfast that you don't want to end. Chris and Rhonda are not just excellent chefs but are extremely helpful in planning your stay - from hikes in Glacier, restaurants in town, and outings form Whitefish. A perfect place to stay.

A perfect b&b with an excellent turn of the century home. 2 blocks to downtown so easy walk. Chris & Rhonda treat you like goal and the breakfast are over the top.
We had a room on the highway side of the house but didn't find road noise any issue.
The old style pouch is nice to relax on after a day of traveling
We will definitely go back

This was the first experience for my husband at a Bed&Breakfast and to say the least he was a little skeptical. It could not have been a better experience! The owner was so gracious and took care of our every need when we arrived. He even made suggestions for good restaurants and then made the reservations. When we arrived back for the night the beds were turned down- blinds pulled and a plate of chocolates! I love the monogrammed towels and the toiletries were first class. The breakfast in the two morning that we were there were unbelievable!

Thank you, thank you and we will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

This is a bed and breakfast, and a very good one at that. The owner/staff are extremely helpful and very interested in your comfort and happiness. What more can you ask for? Just a warning in case you are coming with your wife and haven't been to Whitefish in the summertime before: your wife is going to want to sell everything and move here. Just be prepared for that. We live on a beautiful ranch in Northern California with a creek running through it and my wife wanted to rush home and sell everything, grab one or two animals, and move. I'm still trying to talk her out of it.

We stayed for four nights at the Garden Wall Inn during June and were delighted. This owner-managed hotel is quite outstanding.
Tripadvisor reports are spot-on. If you plan to visit this beautiful and scenic area, this is the place to stay.
We found that all the luxurious elements which are promised on the hotel's website were delivered in spades: cordon bleu breakfasts; complimentary chocolates; flowers; early-morning tea; delightful decor and furnishings; canapes in the evening; a superlatively-comfortable lounge together with a first-class library - the list goes on...
Yet the heart of the matter lies in the warm welcome by Chris and Rhonda, and in the time they devote to ensuring that each of their guests is able to enjoy all that the Whitefish area - extending to Glacier National Park - has to offer. Hand-in-hand with that goes their evident pride in the wonderful Montana landscape, and, in particular, in Whitefish as a special and flourishing community. Anyone who intends to spend time in Glacier Park will be well-served; Chris' knowledge of the hiking trails, the fauna and the landmarks of the Park is encyclopedic.
This really is a very special hotel: it's a tremendous find.

We spent three nights at the Garden Wall. We had first class breakfasts each morning and a lovely snack each afternoon. The linens were crisp and pressed. The decor was darn cute. The hosts, Chris and Rhonda were warm, friendly, knowledgable and great chefs. The Inn is conveniently located just a short walk into the charming town of Whitefish. I highly recommend this place. You will find none better.

A beautiful cottage with beautiful decor. Loved the lounge with the fireplace with all the books ! Perfect to wind down after a day out. Our hosts in particular was extremely informative and knowledgeable as well as being great chefs. Breakfast was the highlight meal of the day during our stay, a lot of attention was paid to detail. Location is perfect. We had a warm and wonderful stay and will definitely be back !
