If it is service, comfort & attention to detail you want, then look no further.
Your hosts Chris & Rhonda combine to make even a short stay (we stayed for 2 nights) seem like a special experience.
From the welcome drink to the goodnight wishes, from the gentle wake-up call (a tray of hot tea or coffee brought to your room) to the gourmet breakfast, this is an essential stop in any Rockies adventure.
Please dont overlook this little haven for a chain motel, this made all the difference to making our holiday a memorable one.

Never having been to Whitefish (or Glacier National Park, for that matter), we chose to stay at the Garden Wall Inn, based on the great reviews on this website...Needless to say, our two night stay was perfect! Both Rhonda and Chris are extremely accommodating hosts... Chris called in our dinner reservations to a wonderful restaurant in the area... Both Rhonda and Chris have a wealth of knowledge of Glacier National Park and the surrounding areas.

The morning breakfasts were fabulous! Rhonda served us breakfast the first morning and Chris the second. They both get the highest marks for food and presentation!!!

As has been mentioned in other reviews, the rooms were all styled tastefullly, with Crabtree & Evelyn products, dark chocolate mints on the pillows, and best of all, beautiful hand-cut flowers from their yard!!

The next time we visit Glacier National Park, we'll be staying outside of the park, in Whitefish at the Garden Wall Inn. There is all the charm you can think of here and two fantastic hosts/chefs!! What more could one want?

Thanks Rhonda & Chris!!!

My husband booked a romantic Valentine 2005 Getaway at the Garden Wall Inn B&B in Whitefish, Mt. The rooms were beautiful, the atmosphere very romantic and Chris was a most cordial host, providing us with great service. He, very patiently took pictures of us indoors and outdoors. He made us our dinner reservations and was very informative on restaurants in the area and offered his recommendations.. He helped us with directions to the ice rink so that we could go watch our grandson play hockey....We especially enjoyed sipping sherry and eating the delicious hors d'oeuvres by the crackling fire....The mint on the silver tray and the Sweet Dreams card was an extra nice touch when we returned after a night on the town.....The beautiful fresh flowers on the trays and tables were an extra nice touch. The rose scented amenities in the bathroom smelled lucious!! The morning breakfast was just wonderful! Not only was it delicious but it was prepared with such elegance!! Chris was the hostest with the mostest and we would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Whitefish, Mt....truly an elegant, romantic experience!

My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon in Whitefish, MT where we stayed at the Gardenwall Inn. Without a doubt, the best service we have ever received and the breakfasts were the highlight of the day (besides Glacier Park, of course). I highly recommend this BnB - great people and great food, you really get what you pay for. Thanks, Chris and Rhonda!

We recently stayed at the Garden Wall Inn and were given royal treatment. Our room was large and well appointed. The wake up call before breakfast came with coffee and a lovely rose. The breakfasts are hardy - perfect before hitting the slopes or the park or wherever you might be off to. On returning from the day's activities, we were treated to snacks, sherry, a warm fire, and good conversation. After dinner, we rerurned to our room to find Godiva chocolates on the pillow. Truly, no detail was overlooked and no courtesy spared. I would recommend this inn to everyone.

I stayed two nights at the Garden Inn, Whitefish and did not want to leave. It is a wonderful small B&B. Everything is so tastefully done - I have three small touches that I loved. Firstly, the rose-scented Crabtree & Evelyn products in the bathroom. Second, the turn-down service at night with a little silver tray, a Godiva chocolate and a "sweet dreams" note accompanying it! Third, the wake-up coffee or tea in the mornings. The breakfasts were delicious. Chris the inn-keeper and Rhonda the owner are marvellous and are extrmemely knowledgeable about Glacier NP and the surrounding area - a real find, 5 stars all round.
