“Perfect place to stay!”
Reviewed 10 July 2013

This is truly a perfect place to stay. The farmhouse/cabin is spacious and very clean and has every detail ready for your vacation. And the feel of it is a combination of elegant and darling: from the wood floors, the comfortable leather furniture, the large dining room table, to the pictures of Montana on the wall. When we arrived we found a generous (and delicious) welcome basket from the owner -- with home made jams and farm fresh eggs and homemade granola and chocolate and cookies and fruit and more! We had two families stay together and there were enough comfortable beds and large bathrooms (with great linens) for all of us. We cooked several meals and the kitchen has everything you need –quality cookware and cutlery and serving pieces and blenders, etc…. The location is ideal – not too close and not too far from town. And it is quiet quiet quiet. We made the house our own for 4 days and did not want to leave – enjoy your stay!

Someone else in our party found this place and booked it. But we were the first to arrive. We had no idea what to expect and when we drove up the driveway and saw that it was a small rolling farm-like acreage, we were immediately very happy. The owners live in a large house the is away from the house they rent out. And the rental is very comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen had everything you would want if you did some cooking - which we did. The living room area has big comfortable leather couches. The bathrooms are good size and good water pressure. The bed we slept on was very comfortable. Each night we sat out by the fire ring and made smores and talked and laughed together. The kids and many of the adults loved feeding the cows snacks - very friendly cows. The owner left fresh eggs from her chickens in the fridge. A wild turkey roamed the property. The place is extremely relaxing and refreshing. I didn't want to leave. Oh, and the proprietor was extremely friendly and helped us in any way she could.

My family stayed at Bailey's for a few days in early June 2013. Guests stay in a separate building, but still on the farm (there are cows and chickens right out front!)

The farmhouse for guests is lovely, the bedrooms and bathrooms are all luxuriously equipped but it still feels like home. The kitchen is outstanding, you'll find everything you need to cook - we made pancakes with fresh eggs from the farm every morning, they were delightful!!

Very much enjoyed our stay here, it was private and quiet and felt a bit off-the-beaten path, so it was special. But only a few minutes to downtown Whitefish, which is a super cute small-town with fabulous restaurants and shops, really cute!!

Highly recommend Bailey's Bed and Bale.

Green Features: Felt good, living like home! We were happy to use the same sheets and towels while we stayed.

It was perfect at Bailey's Bed 'n Bale. It's an easy drive to whitefish, and the perfect location to see the true beautiful side of Montana. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The hot tub was perfect, after an amazing day of exploring and relaxation, you could sit in the hot tub and just relax, you could gaze at the stars all night, (something im not us to being from a big city). I highly recommend staying there whether you're just passing though or planning on staying in Montana, It's perfect.

Visited Whitefish to go shred the mountain and enjoyed having the comforts of home while on vacation. It was very clean and the beds were super comfy. Enjoyed the full kitchen - jet tub - and mountain views. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms very comfortable and the animals around delightful. Loved it! Very well located--an easy drive to the park and Whitefish. It was so calm we slept very soundly. The owner will tell you all about the chickens, rosters, cat and cows. Lovely fires at night and great star gazing.

Baileys Bed n Bale is a wonderful place for a group to gather while exploring the Whitefish/Glacier Park area. We arrived late in the evening after a very long travel day. It is a few minutes outside of Whitefish, but feels like a world away from civilization. The home is clean, beautifully decorated and very inviting. We so appreciated all the ammenities in the home LInda and her family offer! We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed for a week!
