Stayed here for 2 nights in early May for Business...chose b/c of great TA reviews I had read. Lodge wasn't busy while I was here, almost felt like the place was mine. Other than the fact that I reserved a suite with 'a view' and didn't end up with a view of the lake (lodge actually has very few lake-view rooms b/c of way it is situated on property) & the Lodge Restaurant not having any 375ml wine selections for single diners like myself, I can't come up with too many negatives.

The Lodge itself is pretty cool- not too large of a property, good sized rooms, lots of cool nooks within the room hallway spaces & ample dining. The gym is the best I've ever seen in a hotel- brand new, top-end weight stack stations, free weights, balance balls, etc. This is the most over-looked detail in travel hotels & something I look for. Staff was attentive w/o being intrusive, everyone seems well trained. Hotel is about a mile from Whitefish, a close hotel shuttle ride to town for dinner, bars, etc. Would 100% stay here again.

Room Tip: If you want view of lake, make sure you reserve the right category.

My wife and I stayed at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake for a weekend get away. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a soaker tub and shower. The staff was great. Views of the mountain and lake were beautiful, and food was great. We will stay here again for sure!

My husband and I traveled to Whitefish for a ski vacation. We booked a king room in the Viking Lodge section of the Lodge at Whitefish Lake. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large and functional with beautiful slate tiles and a huge corner shower. Everyone on the lodge staff was eager to assist us and make our vacation relaxing and memorable. The full breakfast in the morning room was delicious and the views of the lake were awesome. We enjoyed the ten minute lodge shuttle ride to the mountain each morning and John, the driver, was full of helpful information about the entire area, the ski resort and the town. There were two young men who drove us into town each evening and then picked us up to bring us back after we'd had dinner. They were always friendly and gave us good information about dining and shopping. On our last evening, we ate at the Boat Club restaurant and it was wonderful. The sunset sky over the lake was lovely to behold. We were so pleased with our stay at the lodge and would recommend it highly.

We often travel to Whitefish from Calgary and always stay at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was beautifully furnished, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Food is great, a little expensive but great tasting. We would not stay anywhere else and we can't wait to return. A+!!!
