“World-Class B&B”

The bar has been set for all others to meet. I have travelled the world over; from South America to China to Europe...Julie's Country Manor is easily and arguably, the finest stay I've ever experienced. Slowly swinging in the hammock in the front yard, ushers in the serenity as you watch the deer meandering through the golden wheat fields across the street; it is a beatiful and welcomed stillness...especially after a day at Glacier. You may think you've stayed in good B&B's before and you proabably have; however, until you've stayed at Julies, you haven't stayed at the best. Did I also mention she is the best baker this side of the Mississippi as well? Congratulations Julie; you have reached perfection...

The perfect location right between Kalispell and Whitefish; close enough for a quick run to either town, but very quiet in the country. Close to the mountains, with horseback riding just down the road. The hosts were so friendly and knowledgeable about local places - little out-of-the-way things that only a local would know - that we enjoyed so much. We were able to visit with others when we wanted, but also spent lots of quiet time by ourselves. The food was unbelievable! Quiet moments with a cup of coffee and a book on the front porch, watching the deer in the fields, looking at the snow-covered mountains not far away... If you are going to be in the area, don't even bother looking at one of those places in town...

Room Tip: Bright, sunny mornings in North/East facing rooms, with a view of the mountains.

We travelled for two weeks through Montana staying only in B&Bs. Julie's was definitely in the top 3% of any place we stayed in. It is conveniently located near a major road, yet in a very quiet place surrounded with a forest (lots of deers to see around the house almost any day). Now, the crux of the matter is the genuinely friendly welcome and treatment we received. The house is exceptionnally beautiful and well designed. The owners know all about the area and generously share advice on places to go, to eat, to shop, etc. And do not worry about food, their breakfast is stupendous. Definitely a place we highly recommend to people who look for a home-like place when on the road.

Room Tip: All rooms are very good.

Easy to find. Great setting. Bed was perfect with high thread count sheets. Jetted tub to relax in after a day outdoors. Dick & Julie are warm, hospitable hosts with great suggestions of things to do and see in the area. Next time I will take advantage of the massage table -- Julie knows a great masseuse in the area. Watched deer wandering about the property from the front porch and out the back windows. Julie is a terrific cook. Breakfasts were delicious -- chorizo quiche one morning, stuffed french toast on another and finally a souffle -- with a nice rich cup of joe. I was spoiled and hated to leave.

Room Tip: I was in the garden room. Had a refrigerator, TV & DVD player and private bath.

My husband and I happened upon this lovely location on a recent trip to Glacier National Park. We had never visited a Bed and Breakfast before and were totally thrilled with the experience.
Julie and Dick were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful home. Don't leave before breakfast! Julie is incredible in the kitchen. Her homemade muffins are delicious and we were all impressed with the ham and cheese soufflé .
Our bedroom and private bathroom were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable.
I highly recommend Julie's Country Manor.

I have stayed at many B&Bs over the years. It is rare that all the elements that make it a successfull experience all come together in one place. I truly felt at home here, like I was visiting old friends. Julie is a marvelous hostess and a great breakfast cook. Dick is very helpful, whether you need your bags carried, a dinner suggestion, or activities. The house itself is fairly new, built as a B&B, currently has only 3 rooms (going up to 4 next year), and is located about 1/2 between Whitefish and Kalispell on an lovely country road. You simply can't do better.

Julie and Dick have an incredible home.they are very special people with a gift of hospitality that is evident the minute you book your reservation on the phone. Fortunately for travelers they have made this wonderful house into an amazing B&B. I highly recommend "The Country Manor" beautifully decorated, peaceful, comfortable, mouth watering breakfast, hospitality at its finest. Could not ask for more..
