Good Motel for young families. Waterslide, hot tub and a good complimentary breakfast. The rooms are well equipped with very comfortable beds and the standard motel decor. Unfortunately the rooms also had the standard noisy air conditioners/heaters without a proper thermostat. Our heat adjustment was broken so the heater would either run continuously or not at all, making the room really hot or really cold. I would only give this hotel a 2 star. The hotel right beside it offers the same service without the waterslide for half the price.

A decent hotel in a beautifull city. We did a lot of shopping in the Whitefish area and found a lot of good deals. It was pretty busy being black Friday but we had a good time.

It's a very clean and nice hotel, the staff is friendly, shuttle service from the airport is great. The only problem is the construction was cheap and the walls are thin, I could hear the neighbors tv almost all night. It's better to stay at an older motel for a good nights sleep. Why bother trying to sleep without earplugs in this hotel?

We planned a last minute trip to Glacier National Park and were able to find rooms available at this hotel. The web site that listed the hotel said it was 11 miles from the parks west entrance. It was actually more like 21 miles. The drive wasn't too bad. Gave us some down time to discuss the highlights of the day and plan our next day's adventures. The hotel was clean and there were restaurants with in walking distance. My son loved the pool. He was a little too young for the waterslide but my husband got plenty of use out of it for the two of them! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay .

We had a nice stay at this hotel. They do have a small pool with a waterslide and a breakfast that is included with the cost of your room. The breakfast was pretty good - hot foods, cereal, juice, coffee, fruit, etc. The staff was pleasant and our room was clean and comfortable. The rooms on the ground floor have really easy access to your car - great for loading and unloading. If it's available, request the room that is wheelchair accessible as the bathroom is less cramped than other Holiday Inn's I have stayed in. It is about a 15-20 minute drive to the west gate of Glacier. On your way into the park, stop at a grocery for snacks and water as those kinds of things are limited once you are in the park. It is another 10-15 minutes into downtown Whitefish from the hotel. If you are traveling with children, this may be a good spot as there are a few chain restaurants nearby that may have kid-friendly menus (pizza hut, etc.)

Initially, our first impression was ok. The desk clerks were pleasant and check-in was swift. We really liked the fact that we could pull up to the back door of the unit and unload. The unit had a door opening from the hall and one from the parking lot. The rooms were dated, but clean. The beds were, unfortunately, in need of replacement mattresses. So were the lumpy pillows. At about 8:00 the noise started. We could hear right through the walls. The guy upstairs had his TV on which sounded like constant drumming. We could hear his footsteps until 11, when I called the front desk. They were immediate in their response and the guy quieted down. I don't think it was his fault, just cheap construction. The a/c wall shaker unit made it difficult to get the temperature right. I slept in my ski fleece because it was too cold. Promptly at 6:00 a.m., the TV went on, the drumming began and the footsteps, toilet flushing and shower noise put an end to any sleep. This hotel should have cost $79.00 a night, instead of $170.00. I did complain to the front desk when asked how our stay was. The young girl said she would speak to the manager for a reduction in our rate. I've yet to see it. If a quiet room is important to you, pass this place by!

Not a bad place to stay. Not a great place to stay. Hotel is not new, but appears to have had some remodeling done. Rm 272 is a big suite with king bed separated from living area...we asked for an upgrade upon check in and received this room...it would have been just fine, but the room backs up to the waterslide/pool area which is open...the noise from the running waterslide and kids screaming with delight is deafening...and no matter how loud you turn up the TV it does not drown out the pool noise...and the pool doesn't close until 10pm...so you do the math...just request a room far away from the pool area and you should be fine.
