“Best Mexican in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2013

I've eaten at several Mexican restaurants in the Bellevue/Papillion are and this is by far the only one I keep coming back to. Food is really good and not too terribly expensive. During the summer they use a lot of fresh herbs and vegetables from their own garden grown right out back. The green chili verde is the best there!

“Give it a try!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 January 2013

Having recently relocated to Bellevue, Nebraska, we found this place very close to our home. We looked at the menu on their website and decided to go in and give it a try. We weren't disappointed, and haven't the many times we return. The food is not traditional Mexican, nor is it necessarily Tex-Mex, it's more of a Mexican dive bar. What's good? The chicken fajitas, the burritos (try the Big Red Burrito, YUM!), the fried tacos, the shredded beef anything, the salsa, the chile sauce. In short, everything we've ever tried! And the prices? So reasonable for the amount of food that you get. A dinner for two including margaritas is around $20. The location is a bit off the track nestles near base housing off Capehart Road. The picture doesn't do it justice since it's remodel. It is a very cute place and you will feel right at home!

My family usually hits Lil' Burro about once a week. There's no place better for shredded beef enchiladas ... period

“Delicious*”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2012

Go where the locals go...and follow the military uniforms. Lil Burro is right by Offutt AFB and has delicious Mexican food. Drink specials are usually good(Margaritas anyone?) and pretty affordable. Any time I want chile rejenos, we head there.

“Not pleased”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2012

Nestled in Bellevue, NE behind the military housing. I received many great reviews, so the hubby and I checked it out. Well, it was crap. It is a knock off of Tex-Mex, but below average food sucks. You might as well go to South Omaha for the good stuff or make your own dinner, which would be better than that place.
