just into the beautiful village of Wambercourt, beside La Planquette river you will find the Alpaca Farm. It is run by a welcoming young family. You are taken into a large barn with a screen where you learn in fifteen minutes (in english if you ask) all about the animals you are about to meet.
The collection of goats, chickens and alpacas live in the surrounding fields or barns and you are encouraged to wander amongst them. The alpacas are nervous unlike the goats, but are a lovely sight wandering around the french countryside!
After your visit you may be offered cheese to buy and a liquor to taste. The knitwear in the shop is beautiful and varied.
Well worth a visit especially if you have little children.
