i love my vacations on st kitts and i always make sure to stay with sue and ray at mule house. the accommodation is clean and pleasant, the hosts, sue and ray are really nice and friendly and have all the info about what´s going on on the island, regarding trips, shopping, beaches and more. the garden surrounding mule house is beautiful and private. the ocean view from the balcony is wonderful. the apartments are very well kept, the kitchen and bathroom are clean and the rooms are simple and welcoming. it´s just a great place that i would recommend to anyone who wants to really enjoy the caribbean in a relaxed and uncomplicated way. it´s self catering, so you can make yourself at home and comfortable.last but certainly not least, the prices at mule house are the best! if you´re going to st kitts - go to mule house!

This is among the most pleasant, clean, and airy apartments/self-catering units we have stayed at in the Caribbean. The two bedroom apartment had a veranda overlooking the well tended grounds with the ocean in the distance. The kitchenette and all utensils were immaculate. The bath towels were changed frequently and there were ample clothes hangers (which is not always so at other places we've stayed). There is a washing machine available and clothes lines with plenty of pegs.

When we arrived there was a bowl of bananas and a papaya on the table and a bottle of fresh coconut water in the fridge.

Sue and Ray are great hosts. Sue will pick up essential groceries for you before your arrival. She meets all first time visitors at the airport. Ray refilled our coconut water.

A car is a definite asset for touring the island but one could use the mini-buses to get to and from Basseterre.
