Glad you enjoyed your stay. We've not seen the badgers yet, but basil brush the fox is a regular and nesting Woodpeckers in the Spring are a joy to watch. Hope you will return.

“Relaxing and enjoyable week at Kingsdown”
Reviewed 15 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This was our third visit to Kingsdown but first in this chalet, the chalet was well equipped however could have been cleaner. Despite the negative reviews the park was still in good order and I believe the new owners are trying to get issues sorted. We would definatley return to Kingsdown the park is so peaceful with lots of open space for kids to run and so much to do in the surrounding area.

“Lovely triangle houses”

We stayed here last August and the children loved the "triangle houses"! The holiday park was nice and very convenient for the beach. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and mini golf. We also enjoyed visiting lots of castles in the area. We booked this chalet direct with the owner (rather than booking one of the ones through the holiday park) as the amenities were much better.

It is a beautifully located chalet in a small park 5 minutes from the beach with a nice pub.
The chalet is fully equipped. Very comfortable and tidy. Certainly to recommend me to friends.

“Good base for the lovely part of the country”
Reviewed 19 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

From the photograph, I thought the accomodation is over 2 triangle buildings but it was just one of them. We were a party of two families (4 adults and 2 children, 8 and 6 years old) but we didn't feel too cramped. We were out and about most of the time though, and lucky with the weather and we could sit outside. The swimming pool was closed for first couple of days of our arrival due to shortage of staff and we were so disappointed, but it resolved quickly enough, and when it opened, pool was nice and warm and children enjoyed it. The bakery within the complex was closed for the whole time we were there but we didn't mind. The cafe/bar next to the swimming pool was under renovation, again we didn't mind - I can only assume it would be nice once it open.
Pebbled beach is just down the road from the complex, with lovely pub with seating outside. Perfect for a long walk, children loved to pick and find beautiful or unusual stones and shells, and throwing back to the sea. It's not very far to drive to the lovely town of Ramsgate and Broadstairs, and White cliff of Dover that we enjoyed.
Only criticism is that the Wifi was not good enough - yes there was one but we couldn't use it a lot of times. Perhaps because every one of us had tablet or smart phone and wanting to use wifi at the same time and it slowed right down?
All in all, we had a great time and would like to go back again.
