“Disappointed...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2012

The carpet was dirty and stained. The tub edging was dirty and stained! Cleanliness was definitely an issue! There were four staying in the room and not enough towel sets upon arrival nor replenished on the second day...no wash cloths at all after room service! We often stay in Embassy Suites! This stay was definitely a surprise and disappointing!

No posting of breakfast hours...got there at 9:07 and it was closed...

headsets in gym in morning were unuseable..dirty...

Been to better E. Ss....

Foam pillows (requested on my honors profile)...not there..

Room Tip: not sure..first time here..

We wanted to stay at the Embassy Suites in downtown Omaha, but it was booked up, so we reluctantly chose this one instead. Turns out, it was super nice! The location is a little further out that we would have liked, but freeway access is easy and it didn't take that long to get into town. We enjoyed the happy hour and especially the breakfast. We also visited the bar for a late-night drink, which was fun. The room was updated, clean, quiet, and spacious, and it was a great value. What more could you want?

With the family, on the way home from a trip out East. Stayed one night, checked in late, front desk did little but check us in. Location is nice next to Cabelas. Rooms seemed smaller than other Embassy Suites that I have stayed in. Room remodel was nice, but they left the old bath tub which had mold in the corner and probably why it is not rated excellent.

Breakfast, cooked to order was the best. Now the kids are getting older, it is nice to have two rooms.

This was the first time we have stayed at an Embassy Suites as a family. I thought the price was fairly decent but when I found out all of the perks of our stay, it practically paid for itself! We are a family of five and stayed there for three nights. The rooms were spacious and it was nice to have two separate rooms so the kids could watch what they wanted and my husband and I could watch what we wanted in our own area.

The managers receptions was more than just ordinary! It included a wide variety of alcoholic beverages and snacks and it included many drinks for the kids. The amount that we drank in in one evening probably would have cost us over $50 in a bar but it was FREE! EVERY NIGHT!!!!

The breakfast is the best I have EVER had in a hotel and again it was FREE! Made to order omelets, pancakes, etc. and a full variety of pastries, cereals, oatmeal with toppings, yogurt, and it goes on and on!

The pool was great and clean. I still can't figure out how they keep the pool towels sooooo warm. Although the pool was not huge it was designed well enough that even with a large crowd, it didn't feel crowded.

The only downfall of the hotel was that we could hear through the walls which is not much different than any other hotel and its not really their fault. We had a crying baby next door which kept us awake. Other than that this was the best hotel experience by far!

This hotel was extremely clean and had a great decor in each room!! I was very surprised with the location of this hotel as well! Had a beautiful view of Omaha for the room at night which threw me for a surprise! Breakfast was great and the bartender at the managers reception was great as well!

This quite new (2 years old?) hotel was impeccable as expected; the usual Manager's Reception and breakfast were excellent as with all others that I have stayed in. I never eat dinner in a hotel, but arrived in La Vista at about 8:00, wanting a little dinner but not wanting to go out. So I went to the bar, expecting a beer and maybe fries, but was thrilled with a tomato bisque soup and a wonderful pear-goat cheese-walnut salad. Just a wonderful meal. I will definitely stay in this hotel again and will hope for the same first-night dinner. Wish I was there tonight.
