by spending a few hours pretending you are Indiana Jones or Tarzan in this tree-top assault course close to Sarlat le-Caneda. Rope ladders, tight-ropes, swings, each different course (from yellow all the way to black, like the ski-runs) tests your balance and agility and head for heights.
I have to say my children did so much better than I did, but we had a great laugh and all learned something about one another's capabilities, a real bonding exercise which you just don't get sitting around the pool.
I was nervous about the safety aspects, but they have excellent English speakers who will take families individually to explain and demonstrate the procedures.
If you are of a nervous disposition I recommend coming as early as possible when the courses are less crowded, so you can take your time and not feel pressurized. It really is good fun (once you are back on the ground....)
The only downside is the bathroom facilities aren't great, there were no towels or soap in them when we visited,

“Great day out...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 September 2012

We always come here in our summer holidays....and from the age of 3 years every year to now, my 10 year old son has enjoyed every minute......we bring a picnic and make a day of it...... You are given good instruction and then go ahead at your own pace. August can be very busy..but out of the Summer season you can more or less have the place to yourselves...

“Great afternoon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 September 2012

Two adults, 3 kids - 11,7,5 - we all had a great time. The five year old found his course a bit tame - he wanted to be up in the big trees with the others, but was not permitted. Other than that, it was great fun, and we all had a go. Be prepared for the kids to be scared at first, then realise that its actually rpretty easy and want to do the more challenging courses !!!

Good safety info, not too busy, somewhere to grab a cold drink, and lots of fun. €55 for a family of 5.

“Great fun!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 August 2012 via mobile

Visited as a family (2 sons ages 8 and 11). The park has a series of trails up in the trees with zip wires, tunnels and walkways. You have a harness and are given strict safety instructions and a demonstration before being let loose. The trails vary in difficulty and height and some are reserved for those over 12. We went on the family trail and it was fantastic fun. I think most of the laughter was due to me getting stuck in various places whereas the boys had no problems. We went late in the day (about 90 mins before closing) and this gave us plenty of time to complete the course but also meant that it was quieter. A great way to entertain the kids.
