We picked Scotts Bluff on the map as a convenient stop from Denver on the way to the Badlands. Barn Anew and the whole experience of Scotts Bluff was a fantastic way to begin our adventure. One could spend days looking at all the wonderful details of Barn Anew. Cher and Allen have an amazing collection of artifacts of Native American history. They both have a wealth of knowledge to share, only wish we had time to hear more. We stayed in the Pony Express Room, decorated in interesting detail that makes me want to explore more of that part of our American heritage. The sheep herders wagons outside were intriguing, lovingly restored by Allen. The grounds are beautiful, the barn itself is an amazing renovation, no detail left undone. We really enjoyed hiking the trails at Scotts Bluff Monument, very close to the B & B, good for a early morning hike and back to Barn Anew for a fantastic breakfast. I'd never been to Nebraska before, loved the wide open countryside and grasslands. Put Barn Anew on your list of stops, you'll love it.More
