Wow the room, the view, the boat and mountain tram ride to get there.. the spa!!! Everything was incredible!! The restaurants were all first class!
Only thing that was frustrating was no pics in spa.. we signed a form to agree but saw loads of people taking videos and pictures and nothing was said.
I decide ok e can take a pic then and I was only person caught haha bit unfair. If you going to have this policy it should be monitored more closely so no one takes photos.
Other than that I came home a new woman!

WOW, what great rooms and the view over the lake, however that about it, check in staff rude and just keep telling you the law !, total mess up with our luggage, we waited over one hour and two phone call with no apologizes, they lie about the restaurant booking saying it for in-house guest only to which we were but most of the guests has coasts and then went down to there cars so not sure how they are hotel guests, the food & service was so so, far better places to eat, just the view is really great as you will see 80% are day views over the weekend. again just a one time trip

Room Tip: do not go at weekends to busy with locals

Overall, this is an amazing resort, both for its location and associated views (particularly under the sun when the view is clear), and for the quality of the resort & service (beautiful rooms, beautiful public spaces, beautiful infinity pool, beautiful spa, friendly & efficient service, great food).

We ran into 2 issues of significance, but the resort and overall stay were too amazing for us not to give them 5 stars:
- at breakfast, the restaurant was full and sent us to the ballroom; when we arrived there, it was full and they were sending people to the restaurant. Many people were going back & forth and time was running out to have breakfast. It seems hard to believe that the hotel doesn't have enough capacity for everyone to have breakfast (maybe everyone decided to come at the exact same time?) and in any case, they could have managed the situation in a more coordinated way than send people back & forth between both locations.
- the pool / spa had run out of bracelets so we couldn't have a locker (well we could, but someone had to come open it for us, and lock it for us, which was very inconvenient) - you would think a hotel of that class would always have enough of these.

Finally, it would be nice if the infinity pool stayed open until later than 22:00 so we could enjoy the amazing colors after the sunset at this time of year.

World class 5-star resort hotel. Each room and bath has a magnificent view. Rooms are large and extremely well appointed. This old resort has been rebuilt restored at great expense and is reflected in the product. Amazing array of amenities. Staff were professional and most helpful.

Room Tip: all rooms are outstanding. Have stayed there 3 times.

The view from this hotel is remarkable, you just cannot get enough of it. Once you walk into the lobby, you are faced with this vast view of the lake. Service is top notch and it begins from when your luggage is collected as your car stops in front of the hotel.

The room is gorgeous! Huge huge room with a great view, you just don’t want to leave your room. The tv area is so close to the window, you are spoilt for choice as to where you want to sit. There’s the huge tv in the room with the great view on the side. There’s also a big work table with complimentary drinks in the fridge.

There’s a separate toilet stall with a hose on the side, his and hers sinks plus a huge bathtub with full view of the lake.. totally stress-free once you get in.

There are a few shops within the hotel area, a cinema too but unfortunately I didn’t get to go. You can reach the hotel by train and boat but I chose to arrive by car. If you decide to take the boat out to Lucerne, be sure to take note of the timings as it can be an hour and a half wait (or longer if you miss it)

You definitely don’t want to miss the spa and pool when you are here. I was lucky enough to be on the same floor.

One of the most beautiful hotel I’ve been in to date. Would highly recommend this hotel and would love to bring my kids here again one day.
