If you are in the area this is the most lovely place to stay, worth a detour. The house, rooms, garden etc are wonderful, comfortable etc but what really makes a stay here memorable are your hosts, Helen and Bob. From the moment you arrive you are made totally welcome, from the tea and cakes, to the dinner reservations made, to the delicious breakfast served up. They are exceptional hosts. kind, thoughtful and generous. They are also champion marmalade and jam makers. Fabulous and a big thank you to Helen, Bob and Bertie.
