Check-in was quick and efficient. They had requested room criteria correct. Unfortunately, we asked for non-smoking room and we inhaled 2nd hand smoke all night. As someone with health issue this was not good. Desk person told us only 1 room is smoking designated and its up front by lobby, and we were in back. Well, all those smokers are either smoking in their rooms and it comes up thur shower vents or outside (which we did see several of these in back area) and its coming in windows, which are not very quality. The seam on our window was broken which led to frogged window that could not be looked out and also window was broken and could not be closed. So we couldn't open window for fresh air.
Linens are thin. Shower was good flow. Breakfast basic.

Easy access off of I80. Very nice staff, but property is dated. No elevator. Very clean and neat, but in the hierarchy of things ready to move down to a Quality Inn. Handy access to Starbucks next door.

Room Tip: Ask for first floor unless you like lugging luggage up a flight of stairs.

This was our 1st stop on a road trip from Texas to South Dakota then on from there .... I made reservations several months ahead with a request for 1st floor room as they don't have an elevator and my dad & I have issues .... we check in and the girl ... Jamie? was horrendous very scattered and really did NOT care that we had an issue with the 2nd floor ... but we were stuck like chuck as it was getting late and the rest of town was sold out [don't get that as we were totally middle of no where ville] so we dragged our stuff up the stairs and stayed ... my mothers room didn't have towels we had to get that fixed right away .... typical Choice hotel room ... didn't eat breakfast the next morning because my mother reconned it and was not impressed ... not our usual Choice Hotel fair ... would not recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: If you have mobility issues do not stay here.

I would like to personally & sincerely apologize that the Guest Service Agent on duty was not able to provide you with the level of service that you deserved. We always try to make every effort to meet guest requests & preferences to the best of our ability.

As with other hotels in the area, we unfortunately do not currently have an elevator, however we are installing one to be completed by 2014. I know that this does not / did not help with your recent experience, but I do hope that you will visit us again in the future and allow us the opportunity to make your next stay a pleasant one.

The room was clean and adequate. Staff was friendly. I needed to use the Internet to download something and it just churned and churned- not usable. The person at the desk admitted it was a problem ( the current system was insufficient) and needed upgrading. They should not advertise that they have internet.

Beds are soft. I prefer a stiffer mattress.

When we arrived we were greeting by a very effervescent young woman who seemed to be an expert at multitasking. Because we are choice privileges members she greeted us with chilled bottle water with a York Peppermint Pattie attached. I liked this creative way to show the uniqueness of this inn. The rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay.

On a vacation trip covering 5 states, and 3 Choice hotesl booked prior to our stays, We needed a 4th hotel the last day returning home. We found this Comfort Inn in York NB. It was by far the most expensive one and turned out to be terrible and by far the most expensive. The other 3 hotels charged $10.00 per night for our dog. This one charged $20.00.(Our dog brings his own bed!!). The caret needed a good shampooing-or replacement. The shower head squirted all over. Supposedly, the place was "recently renovated". The bathtub looked ancient.The room was noisy. You could hear the shower run in the next room.
Then we come to breakfast! As in the other Choice hotels where we stayed, they offered eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles with regular or sugar free syrup, toast, coffee. Well this place had biscuits and gravy which looked like BARF. I am diabetic and the only kind of sugar free syrup was blueberry. Had coffee and a soggy danish and left.
We'd have done better at going to a motel that "keeps It's Light on"

Also we didn't get their gift card because we didn't reserve "on line" :(

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for failing to exceed your expectations.

Our hotel is 11 years old however we did undergo a remodel in 2012 updating the decor and interior of the public areas and guest rooms. Still I am sorry that you did not find the accommodations pleasing.

In regards to our "pet policy"...we our a pet-friendly hotel and offer several designated rooms for those guests traveling with their furry friends. As with all of the other hotels in the area we do charge a small fee for the pet accommodations to allow for the extra cleaning required when we a have a 4-legged guest. I do apologize that you were dissatisfied with the amount of the fee as in relation to the other hotels that you visited, but as with anything, prices may vary accordingly and unfortunately we cannot be selective on which type, size, etc. of pet is deserving of a charge or not.

All Comfort Inn hotels provide a complimentary full hot breakfast complete with two entree items, two flavors of waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, hot & cold cereal selections, a variety of breads & pastries, juices, coffee & tea. Our breakfast menu varies from day-to-day and on the morning of your departure we offered all of our standard food selections with an entree of biscuits & gravy and eggs. We do always provide regular syrup in self-serve packages as well as sugar-free syrup in a syrup dispenser, however our sugar-free syrup is maple flavored....perhaps the blueberry you are referring to was the waffle flavor-of-the-day. Regardless, I am sorry that you did not enjoy the breakfast menu that particular morning.

The Choice Privileges gift card promotion requires that a current Choice Privileges member makes their reservations either online or via the Central Reservations 800 number. The gift cards are then dispersed directly from Choice Privileges and are not available at the individual hotel. However, in some instances there is an opportunity to utilize our business center which would allow you to book online even though you are already at the property and therefore still qualify you for the promotion.

Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you provided to make improvements to ensure we offer an exceptional experience for our guests in the future.

This is a 2 story hotel with no elevator. Unless you want to leave your luggage in the car and risk a break in, this is not a good place to stay. They do not tell you unless you ask. If they have a room with on the first floor you would be ok but not otherwise.
