This is a dreadful place. We lasted about 15 minutes.
We arrived around 8pm on a Sunday night and the area was full of drunks. We really did not feel safe here - the people and atmosphere just felt threatening.
The way this area is publicised presents it as a fun family area but in truth it is sleazy and tacky
A place to avoid at all costs.
Was in vegas on a business trip and made a run over to Fremont Street. This place is certainly unique and had a new surprise each time you visit. I think that Fremont street is more fun and interesting that the Vegas Strip. Quique people, quique situations. Good stop!
Fremont is a great time. There are plenty of great food stops. Great stops for drinks at a much more affordable than the strip. Free entertainment and artists doing their thing expressing a variety of short performances. Plenty of casinos for your enjoyment. Much more informal than the strip. HOWEVER, parking can be expensive and at times very difficult to find.
If you thought people watching on the Strip was interesting just wait until you come here on a weekend night. Wow! The classic casinos are fun to see and everything is lit up with the old Vegas flair. The Fremont Experience video screen sky is cool to see and they had some good music which they change often. There was live music at both ends and the people watching was great.
I know it's Vegas, and anything goes, but the Fremont street experience seems to be striving for sleaze. Maybe I'm just getting old, but the attraction is not there anymore.
