“Pyrimid room”
Reviewed 13 June 2014 via mobile

My friend and I stayed here in June 2014, on the 25th floor over looking the airport. No noise coming from planes and woke up to beautiful sunrises.

The room was always immaculately cleaned and the staff friendly.

The pool was beautiful, if a little crowded, but this was expected. We only spent 2 hours by the pool as there is so much else to do in Vegas. I would say, stay away during the spring break (unless you are a spring breaker obviously lol) as I would say it would be very busy!

It has a decent gym with plenty of cardio and machine weights with some free weights also. It also has a spa, but we did not go in there.

Over all, a 5 star Hotel that I would be very happy to stay in again.

Thanks to all the staff for a lovely time.

This hotel is nice, but not outstanding - though it depends on what you are looking for. I would definitely agree with the other reviewers here and suggest that you stay in one of the towers as the pyramid rooms are smaller and, yes, a little overrated.

Room prices are reasonable and the hotel itself is clean and well-kept - at least the portion that we frequented while there.

The only two things that I didn't like were the facts that one, the gym didn't stay open 24 hours and two, the casino dealers are not as inviting as those at neighboring hotels. We gambled more at MGM than here because they were just, well, fun.

Pool area is nice and clean, though loud - but that's Vegas for you. :)

If you are on a budget, stay here. If not, stay closer to the middle of the Strip or even in Old Vegas downtown.

All of that said, it was a decent stay and would return.

Stayed 3 nights and very impressed. Check in started at 2 not 3 and we only waited about 5 mins. Lady was very efficient and asked if we wanted to be in a low or high room. We chose high and were at the front of the building overlooking the airport. The room was impressive and large. You can see that the furniture is. Little worn but it was very clean. The hotel towels are very soft and you have a good selection of sizes. There is no fridge or coffee making in the room as they want you down in the hotel spending money,(understandable). As part of our booking we had a free eating/drinking voucher for $20. There is no minimum spend with this although outlet use is restricted. We used ours at Flight (a bar) and had two cocktails completely free and the batman was very friendly and did not push us to buy more drinks

Green Features: Signs say they sort the waste in the bins for you. They also as you to conserve water

The only positive thing was the valet...

The service started off crappy as soon as you walk up to registration. They stated they have a new fee for early check in. Well being my 27th time to Vegas, I've never been charged a fee. She stated that is wasn't her fault or problem. Way to take ownership. The lady who checked my in laws- also extremely rude.

Then we go to eat at the Pyramid Cafe. After waiting four minutes to be seated (no one else in line, staff chatting with each other) we were rudely told that the restaurant would be closing in an hour... Not by one person, but my 3. (Host, server and busser) since when do restaurants in Vegas close at 1 PM??

We go back to check in, another rude employee. Watch out for "Jennifer". More fees and couldn't book is near my in laws, even though we're all staying here for my wedding. Yep, everyone rude on my wedding weekend. She even had the nerve to yell, "SMILE!" At me, after she just gave possibly the worst service I've received.

We have about 15 people staying here for our wedding- one of our other guests reservation was canceled, because they thought it was double booking?

This hotel is all about not my fault, not my problem. I doubt management would do anything either.

Myself and husband stayed here for four nights. We had a pyramid room and found this to be clean and spacious-the maids cleaned the room each day.

Check in and out where both quick and hassle free.

There are plenty of food options but I would recommend Tender Steakhouse and Taco's and Tequila

The hotel is on the main strip but on the end virtually so there is quite a lot of walking involved if you want to get to the middle of the strip

The room was not adequately cleaned. We found bobby pins & stirrers all over the floor. We also found a sandal & an empty cigarette pack under the dust ruffle of the bed. We asked the house keeper on our floor to clean our room but they were busy and never got around to it. I know we should have contacted the front desk or housekeeping for better results, but we were out all day & too tired to deal with it when we returned. One bartender at the Play Bar sucked! He spent most of his time gossiping w/ the cocktail servers & some guy sitting by the beer taps. We had to get up, walk to the beer taps, & ask him for another drink. He then whined to us about how he was by himself & busy. The only people at the bar were us & beer tap guy, no cocktail servers were waiting for drinks. Cocktail service on casino floor was great & replacement bartender was fantastic! Front desk & concierge also very friendly & helpful!
