The hotel is very central easy to go to other hotels as there are walkways linking the Excalibur Hotel which links to New York New York, MGM and so on. The buses are easy to catch and the tram stop is very near the hotel. Shopping outlets easy to get too and the airport is not too far.
The hotel itself is very active with shows, shops, casino and restaurants.

Stayed here in May 2014 very classy rooms clean and very comfortable and affordable. The good thing about this hotel you don't have to walk through gaming area to go to your rooms. Staff were excellent. We had a large RV Motor home and they accommodated a space for parking. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Las. Vegas. Great restaurant and good location.

Room Tip: The view we had was looking towards airport up high. Very pretty view all around. Definitely recomme...

We were in Luxor in August 2013 and it was really cool. The Hotel is like pyramide and the elevators were a little scary. It was a great expirience to try something so unique. The pool is great. Overall a good place to stay. The only problem for me was the wifi. It wasn't good at all.

Stayed in a suite in the East tower. Large separate living room. Very comfortable king bed. Even had a bar area and fridge.
Concierge service was fantastic. Saw the Chris Angel show. Very entertaining.

Came here for a two night stay and was assisted by Alex at check-in, he was great. Polite, helpful- informed him it was both mine and my boyfriends birthday and he upgraded us from a Pyramid Suite to a Tower Premiere Suite.
The room wasn't nearly as pretty as it's pictured on the website. It was still nice, spacious for the four people we had in the room, but definitely not as "new" as the pictures showed. Some of the wallpaper and paint on the walls was rough looking and the two chairs at the bar were actually disgusting. The seat itself was so used the entire cover was cracking and showing the stuffing inside. The rollaways were pretty plush, not to mention the king bed in the suite was extremely comfortable. Room was clean, bathroom large and nicely decorated. Also, the view was incredible! On the 28th floor (there's 30 in the hotel) facing out to Las Vegas Boulevard. Couldn't really complain for a free upgrade.
One of the really annoying parts was the walk from the room to the parking/pool area. Literally takes a solid ten minutes to go from one side of the hotel to another- frustrating when you go to the pool and leave your sunscreen in the room. Also, when playing at the slots, no one ever brought us a drink, although everyone around us was. I don't know.
Oh, don't buy drinks from the pool. $25? No thank you.

An alright stay. I don't know that I'd recommend it.

Room Tip: Probably stay in the newly built 'Tower' building. I'm sure the rooms will actually be a...

Huge hotel, booked into the pyramid, got a free upgrade from TJ to the tower rooms which are bigger straight away, lovely big clean room, lovely meals in the food court especially Nathans and excellent service at the steakhouse, walkways to Excalibur where you can use their pool, walkways to Mandalay..lovely shops, short walk from the hotel you can catch a bus for $8 for 24 hr pass which you can use to hop on and off up and down the strip, a must see is the freemont experience..cheaper shops and old time casinos... fountains at the Bellagio brill! My only gripe would be theres no coffee making facilities in the room. Would recommend this hotel highly, really enjoyed our stay.
