This huge hotel was beautifully appointed and meticulously kept. Everything was clean, tidy, well maintained and of luxurious appearance. Staff were pleasant and courteous and nothing appeared to be too much trouble to arrange. A celebratory box of chocolates was delivered with a personal note when I explained I was here to attend a wedding-that was an especially nice touch.
Whereas the hotel encompassed an entire city of restaurants and shops, it was possible to walk to nearby small cafes and convenience stores which offered more competitive prices for snacks and drinks. A small kettle in the suite would have been helpful for instant hot drinks, although in other respects the king suite was exceptionally well- equipped and the marble bathroom was magnificent. Make sure you don't touch the pressure-sensitive mini-bar or you will receive a massive bill!
Other guests appeared to suffer from noise, but on the 22nd floor it was quiet with an amazing view over the mountains and desert. If you want discreet luxury in Las Vegas style, this hotel would be a good choice.More
