I have stayed at many upscale hotels in Las Vegas while traveling both for business and pleasure and i must say this is my new favorite. Mr. Wynn really knows how to deliver on the "experience" at Encore. As others have noted, it feels more of a boutique hotel in that it is smaller and quieter than the Wynn. I also just felt it was more elegant in it's design. Staff is gracious and service is top notch. Restaurants and spa second to none. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not only recommend highly, but would choose this for a personal trip outside of business. Rooms very large with great sitting area and amenities what you would expect at this level.

Nice, spacious and comfortable rooms. The service is not the best, but the hotel itself is very nice. Bathrooms are very spacious and have built in tvs in the dressing areas. Good amenities. Room service was good - food excellent. Lots of security - must show room key when exiting elevator. Upscale shops.

I stayed at the Encore over the long weekend in January with 3 other girlfriends. We chose the Encore because we wanted a luxurious, pampering stay, and that is exactly what we got.

The rooms were fantastic and pristine!! Gorgeous bath ammenties that were replenished daily, and the most comfortable bed and linnens (which they sell too).

We made use of the spa, which is grand and worth spending a few hours in. Was well worth the $30 to use the facilities for the day.

Also went to XS nightclub. We found out on the second night that if you put your name on a guest list at Encore's concierge, that you don't have to pay cover or wait in line for the club. The club is GORGEOUS by the way-- definitely had a good time there. Also went to Tryst next door at the Wynn.

Only negatives are that this hotel is on the farthest end of the strip... we rented a car, but I imagine if we hadn't, we'd be cabbing it everywhere. This really wasn't an issue, but it might be for others.

Also, it's on the pricier end of hotels for Las Vegas-- which around $300/night is still reasonable consiering the amazing ammenities and comfort you get, but still, if you're here to see shows and stay out, you probably don't care about the room. We cared, but you might not, so there are always other hotels to consider.

If I come back to Vegas, and I've rented a car, I will definitely stay at the Encore/Wynn property again. Otherwise, based on location, I'll probably stay at the Bellagio (where I normally prefer, but is far less luxurious in comparion).

Stayed here last year a month after they first opened and LOVED it! This time it was a little less spectacular mostly due to service. We arrived a day early due to weather and were very rudely informed they were 'sold out'. Odd since it was DEAD! no one was even at check-in, restaurants or casino area. We asked how this is possible as was informed by the staff that 'everyone went to bed early tonight'. HA! It's 8pm in Vegas! Then we were informed that there was a standard room available this Tuesday night for $400 plus tax and resort fee. But it's sold out? Hmmmm. Also odd since the next night we reserved for $99. Tuesdays must be more in demand than Wednesday. We then left and called the Encore to see what they would say over the phone. The 'sold out' was actually just 'sold out of promo rates'. But we were once again rudely dealt with and decided to stay elsewhere. This would be true for the following 4 nights we were booked here but the reservation was by then prepaid and could not be changed. Arriving the next day our friends checked right in around 2pm but we were told (next in line) that a room wasn't ready yet. Really? Then after overhearing other guests next to us in line get a standard king room we looked at the staff member puzzled and she exclaimed, "A room just opened up!" Off we went to our room. Expecting the same dazzling cleanliness that greeted us last year we were disappointed upon arrial. Dust covered the lights, counters and other areas of the room. A few hairs were found in the soaking tub, and stains on several towels were also found even though they appeared to have been washed. The windows that were sparkling clean last year seem to have not been touched since then either. Not the amazing entrance we hoped for.
Overall the rest of the hotel was kept in nice and clean condition, the casino staff was much better than the hospitality at reception, although there was a lack of doormen this time around, as well as cocktail waitress's during the day.
Enjoyed the lobby bar for breakfast, the lattes were as good as I remembered as well as the croisants! Botera steak was the best meal we had last year however upon returning this time it took 3 times before they sent out a steak that was even close to how it was ordered. The 3rd steak was certainly not the filet mignon cut that was ordered and was quite tough and stringy. The others at the table also had cooking issues where the medium chateaubriand was closer to rare, and a medium well steak was much more like medium rare. NOT what you pay for there! In the end they took off the steak that was sent back 3 times. Needless to say we won't return. Society Cafe was much better and the service was excellent as well.
Upon checkout they had overcharged us by $700! As well as charging for internet service PER DAY! where as last year it was per stay! Check your bill and save your room charge receipts and it will be much easier when you must dispute their overcharges!
It seems as if the hotel and staff was happy to have visitors last year, but this time around they don't really care whether you stay there or return. Quite disapopinting. After a delay at the airport we had another unexpected night but did not return here. Want luxury and service in Vegas? Try Vdara! much more what we expected from the Encore.

The Encore is simply the best.
Elegant, gorgeous, lavish, comfortable, classy, top notch....need i say more..

The standard rooms at The Encore are beautiful spacious suites. Nice sitting area, good views of the strip, north or south. Nice big bathrooms. Super comfortable beds. Contols for lights and blinds bedside and on the wall. Love the rooms...

Sinatra--excellent restaurant!!!!

Service everywhere-excellent!!!

Casino-excellent!!! Good amount of tables, nice selection of slot machines with multi denominations. The colors and decor are so elegant and soothing.

The Encore almost reminds me of a boutique hotel compared to the other hotels in Vegas. It has a more quiet and refined feeling.

On a scale of 1 - 10
Encore 10
Wynn 9.9
Bellagio 9.8 to many people passing through this hotel all hours of the day/night
Palazzo 9.7
Aria 9

Will stay herre again and again and again!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Encore for a few nights on a business trip. I was very impressed with the spacious room . The room had a very contemporary appeal with a large flatscreen TV(that rotates so that you can watch it anywhere within the room), extra comfortable bedding with down blankets/pillows, and access to room lighting and drapery from buttons at bedside. The bathroom was very clean and modern with a TV and two separate sinks. There was even a phone inside the toilet room. There was a business area complete with phone and fax machine. The window in the room was room-sized offering a scenic view of the mountains. The hotel had a comfortable upscale look without being too arrogant or gaudy. I highly recommend the Encore.
