Harrah's is a nice property on the Strip. It's one of the older ones, but it's been periodically updated. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is very conveniently located for the Monorail and the Linq.

The food offerings are very limited, but it appears that they are in the process of building a new food court.

The machines are okay for a Strip property. Not the tightest, but not very loose either.

Our stay at Harrah's was great. Our room was clean and comfortable. Loved the pillow topped mattress. Even though there was construction going on, it never bothered us. I would definitely stay at Harrah's again in the future. Love the Total Rewards program.

First when I checked in, they had the wrong reservation. They had me in a king mini "suite", that should be ashamed of it's title. To call that room a suite, it's insulting. There were no mute two double or queens available when I checked in, so I was stuck with it. There was construction going on, so the hanging floor was a mess. The dealers were nice.

Not the grandest of Hotels on the strip but it's location is very good, being opposite the Mirage and Caesars Palace. And next to The Venitian.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a problem with the safe which was sorted out quite quickly. We had a large room with two Queen beds. A good size bathroom with good shower over the bath. It was clean and the house keepers came in every day. It was fitted with air conditioning which was essential. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but there is a Starbucks next to the lift on the ground floor, which was very convenient.
If we ever returned to Las Vegas we would certainly stay at Harrah's.

Room Tip: Go for a room higher than level 21

We stayed at Harrahs from 4-10 June. Despite some of the other reviews, we found Harrahs very comfortabke indeed. We had been upgraded to a Premium View roonm for an extra US$6 per day, room 2732 in the Carnival Tower. The room was spacious and comfortable - 2 queen beds, good size bathroom, large flat screen TV, and VERY quiet indeed. We had an excellent view of the High Roller wheel and the mountains beyond. We did have a problem with the room aircon on the first day (it wouldnt stay on) but after a call to Maintenance, we had a repair man to our room within 15 mins and the problem was fixed, with no further issues during our stay.

The room has a small bar fridge but if yoiu want a larger fridge in your room, it can be suplied for a small daily fee. Heres a tip - my wife needs to keep her medicatons refridgerated, so a fridge was supplied free of charge, Always pays to ask :)

There is a large pool located on level two, with lots of deckchairs available. There is also a outside bar and shop. There are renovations going on in the pool area, but these dont impact the pool or surrounds.

The gaming area is large with lots of poker machines and gaming tables. Harrahs is undergoing renovations in the gaming area, but as with the pool, these upgrades dont cause any issues.

if you wish to save money on meals, there is a Walgreens about 10 minutes walk down the Strip, towards the Venetian. For those who dont know, Walgreens is a convenience store, much like a IGA or ALDI in Australia.

Harrahs is centrally located on the strip opposite Ceasars Palace. From what it lacks in facilities and gaming of the larger casinos, like Bellagio, it makes up on value and location.

One downside is the lack of wifi. Harrahs do supply in-room internet but it is a cable setup. The only wifi available in the casino is in the 2 Starbucks located in the lobby and first floor. The lobby one is open 24/7 and has the most reliable wifi connection.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would defineately stay there again.

Room Tip: The Carnival Tower, especially, the higher floors, is clean and quiet. Ask for a High Roller view ro...

Best part of my trip was check-in. It was all down hill from there. Room was outdated & drab. The buffet was under renovation. Slot floor was under renovations to replace carpeting effecting slot play. Tight machines like never before. Apparently to pay for the renovations. My spouse is a near diamond member and he received the same drab room I did. So much for free upgrades. In the past we have received much nicer accommodations. It would seem that every time we go the quality just goes down. We have decided to stay elsewhere in the future. The only memorable part of the stay was the real life actors of Winnie & Buck. Delightful!

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the Mardi Gras Tower. Those appear to be more habitable.
