I was in Las Vegas for 2 days for a business meeting. The hotel has the amenities of a Westin business hotel. It has a restaurant, a few meeting rooms, a Starbucks, and even a small casino. The rooms are modern and updated. WiFi connect is good. The downside to this hotel is that it cannot compete with the other hotels in Vegas. The other hotels have much more to offer - spas, more food options, larger casino, more modern rooms, etc. This hotel really belongs in a smaller city and is not on par with what is available in the area.

Thank you for your feedback. While we are glad you enjoyed the amenities offered by our hotel such as our modern rooms, good Wi-Fi and our onsite restaurant, it is disappointing that we were not able to impress you fully. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future.

Been here before but today I had to come take time and say some nice words about the check in experience, I was helped by Blake at the FD and he was speedy, informative and kind, mentioned all that the hotel offers and made my day after having been at the airport a little too long. Thank you Blake. I hope the Westin knows how valuable you are.

A lot of people criticize this hotel because it is not modern or updated like many of the new or newer hotels on the strip, and that judgment is justified. But it does not mean that this hotel is not a good place to stay. It's not as if they don't have running water or heat. It does show its age at times, but overall it is a perfectly fine place to stay. My one concern about pets proved to be unfounded.

The rooms are spacious and our bed was quite comfortable. The room was clean and the service is perfectly fine. The location cannot be beat in my opinion, just minutes from the strip without all the noise and congestion. They offer free parking and internet, and the speed is pretty fast. There are enough electrical outlets to charge phones and tablets. In general, our four day stay was perfectly fine and I don't have any complaints. We had a room facing the mountains and it was a very quiet room (except for the neighbors and their absolutely obnoxious child--who brings a tiny baby to Vegas for New Year's anyway?) Plus, because it is not the strip, prices are more reasonable. I definitely would consider staying here again.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the mountains if you don't want street noise.

Being an avid Starwood patron I have found this to be one of the friendliest and helpful staff; from Matt and Albert at the check in desk and TJ who helped us narrow down what to do and where to eat. Being slightly off the strip is an advantage! You are in walking distance to all casinos, the monorail and Big Bus Tour.

Stayed as an overnight stop on a tour. Off the Strip and lacking the wow factor. Rooms are a good size, clean and well appointed with the usual facilities. Mono rail station is 5 minutes walk and the strip 10 minutes. Area is a little rough though. Usual gaming room on ground floor. I got the impression it knows it's off the main Strip so is on a loser straight away. Interesting to see the amount of flight crews booking in. I find that a sign of value for money usually. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a view of a concrete wall. I think that may be a bonus. I see no reason to do anything other than sleep there.

Room Tip: Fourth floor and above if you want a view.

I travel to Las Vegas frequently for business. Staying at one of the big casinos is fun at first but you quickly tire of the long lines, crowds, noise, distance to the parking lot, etc.. Most of the major hotels are around Vegas but they are all a car ride to the strip. I like the Westin because you get a typical Westin hotel with a nice small casino downstairs and it is only a short walk to the center of the strip. You get the best of both worlds.

Stayed here with a bunch of high school friends, split between two rooms for a weekend reunion. The best thing about this hotel is that you are still very close to The Strip, but being a couple of long blocks away makes for a much more relaxed Vegas experience. The second best thing was the small casino in the hotel. Very chill compared to the giant casinos and the dealers were all very friendly. The happy hour specials were the best if you gamble for entertainment and not to make a living. Between the craps and roulette tables, we got our nights off to a great start. The rooms were basic but I will say the housekeeping staff was very attentive in refreshing room, providing extra towels, and putting an extra cot in the room for us. Small but serviceable pool with excellent bloody marys. Only negatives were a very slow check in and slow service at the pool.
