As is the case with most Westin hotels, the rooms here are well appointed and clean. The amenities are also very good, especially for a hotel in this price range.
However the air conditioning went out yesterday (in Las Vegas, in May), and all they keep saying is it's "almost fixed." Meanwhile, the guests are all struggling to sleep in hot conditions. They should be up front with guests on the amount of time that it is likely to take to get the issue resolved. Had they done that originally, I would have switched hotels yesterday. Instead, they just keep stringing us along. I expect more from a Westin hotel - they are usually better than this.More
