As a person who likes to focus on going out and doing stuff in the city rather than sitting in our hotel room all day, this hotel was perfect for us. It wasn't too expensive and the room was better than I expected because of the price. It's also relativly close to the strip. This hotel is perfect if you're like me and don't care that much about luxury.

My fiancé and I have visited Las Vegas yearly, sometimes twice a year, for 12 years. We've stayed many places but most of the time we stay at the Stratosphere. Although not located in the heart of the LV strip, the Stratosphere is still a nice, inexpensive choice. The rooms are always clean. Check in had always been seamless. Roxi's Diner is a nice place to eat, 50's type atmosphere with singing waiters/waitresses.
The Top of The World restaurant is amazing. The view is spectacular. We recommend going as the sun is setting. It's pricey but well worth it.
There's a Starbucks right in the casino. The bus that takes you up and down the strip picks up right at the casino. The staff is always friendly. There's not much at this end of the strip. Circus Circus, The Riviera, Slots O' Fun are within walking distance and a brand new resort is presently being built right next door where the Sahara Casino once stood. The Stratosphere offers everything the other casinos do just not as glitzy.

Held a business meetings at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The meeting room had an awesome view for those moments of business meeting boredom. Rooms were comfortable. Staff attentive and friendly. The bonus is the rotating restaurant, which I highly recommend, and if course the rollercoaster amusements rides that will scare the sense out of you. What a wonderful property! The only drawback is it is not on the Strip. However that could be a plus for families.

easy check-in comfy beds and room. Only drawback noisy neighbours but one phone call to desk and problem sorted. Handy for Dennys, bus to Freemont st and premium store outlet. Would return and recommend to friends.

The rooms are updated and huge. The rooms windows are huge letting you see the mountains or the strip. And the comps quickly accumulate, we stay free by using our comps, with no resort fees that others may charge. Yes it is at the end of the strip, but I prefer the more relaxed atmosphere. We divide our trips into two locations, that way we can enjoy both the areas of the strip. We have never had housekeeping problems, are rooms have always been cleaned well, except they missed a day, but I was resting in the room most of the day with the do not disturbed on the door. Called the desk to have towels brought up and they were brought up immediately. If your looking for excitement and glitz...then book centrally on the strip, if you want to relax without the hype, this is the perfect place.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floors and what you want to see...strip vs. mountain view
