Always wanted to see the Hoover Dam and this is the best way to go - by the BIG Hummer. Our guide was Tom who met us right on time at our Hotel. There were 4 of us so we had the Hummer to ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble for Tom who had all the information on the dam, Vegas, the desert, Boulder City - in fact everything. We were a morning tour so he told the exact routine once inside the dam, the best places to sit and stand and where to get the best views.
Needless to say the dam is incredible - the exhibition inside is wonderful and the views from the platform are amazing.
We then met with Tom - again right on time and enjoyed a greta drive back, stopping to see the long-horned sheep. A fantastic trip

Booked a private tour with Bill who was so professional that I could not wait for the tour ! Scotty picked us up at 615 am and we were so excited to go on the hummer tour. He is a fantastic guide and was so fun, personable and has so much knowledge of Vegas and Death Valley. Death Valley is like being transported to another planet. It is beautiful and breathtaking all in one. The drives that you can go on inside the park with the Hummer are amazing. Booking with Bighorn Hummer Tours was one of the best experiences of our trip ! Do not let the name fool you Death Valley is an amazing tour and ask for Scotty he is a great guide !

We were luckily convinced by our hotel's concierge to take this tour as opposed to a helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon when on our first visit to Las Vegas. It was excellent. Our guide Marty was always there to answer our questions, as dumb or disconnected as they may have seemed to him. His enthusiasm for the countryside was apparent. Although it was a long day, starting with pick up at 6.15 and returning around 5 pm it always moved along, with something to see, do or talk about. We particularly enjoyed the off road through the desert - rugged and very beautiful, and interesting to see similarities and differences with outback in Australia (our home). As well as the major attractions of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam - a couple of things now off our lists- Marty even indulged me (and Som, from India and our other companion for the day) with a 'photo shoot' of us in the driver's seat. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone with a day to invest in experiencing a couple of wonders, one natural and one made by mankind.

I cannot recommend this trip enough, Randy was our guide and he was very knowledgable and very funny, last year my wife did the helicopter trip but she reckons this was twice as good, we were lucky as we were the only people on the trip that day,the trip through the desert is fantastic,If money is not a problem you can take a short helicopter trip when you get to the canyon.Once again thanks to Randy he is a great guide.

What can i say other than this was one of the best days ever !!! Randy picked us up at 6.0am in the Hummer and he was excellent all throughout the day. We only had another two people in the Hummer so it was really good. We stopped of at the grand canyon so early that hardly anyone was around so that was great, then stopped off at the last stop cafe for a breakfast bap which was great. Then the fun begins !!! off roading to the grand canyon, this is what the hummer was made for !!! the knowledge of Randy all along the way was excellent and it really was like have your own personal guide, he was great and made the day. At the grand canyon, it was really well organised and we had a great lunch (included in the price) loads of food. All through the day Randy supplied bottles of water and would take photos etc etc just a real gentleman. Although it cost $500 (plus $100 tip) it really was well worth it and had such a great day. The day flew by and we where back at the hotel by 5ish. When we are back we will definitely do another tour with Randy to death valley or somewhere as it was soo good. Many thanks Randy !!
