My friends mom has a time share at this location. We used two, two bedroom suites. It is really close to the strip. Easy walking distacnce. I was really please with the kitchen setup and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
They told us that we would have the two rooms together and when we arrived they were in the same block but not near each other.
As well appointed as the rooms were there was no sound seperation. I could here my friend whispering in the living room while I was trying to sleep. That was by far the biggest drawback of this hotel.
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub near our rooms. We never did try the fancier pool near the main building. At night we pretty much had it to ourselves.
We only ate at the cafe on site the one time but the food and drinks were enjoyed by all.
I would stay here again for sure. I have stayed at the Luxor a couple of times and I did not miss being right on the strip. This was one big block back from the new Ferris Wheel. The wheel makes a good landmark for finding the hotel again.
Also the staff manning the concergie desk were a 5 out of 5 and extremely helpful.

Room Tip: I heard that there were older unrenovated rooms at the property but we were in a new one. New one wa...

This was our second time staying at the Holiday Inn. The first time we got in on a time share presentation/deal where our stay was comped if we sat through their sales gig. Hesitantly, we agreed that 3 hours of our time was worth a free place to stay for a few days while in Vegas. We really enjoyed our stay the first time so for our most recent visit, we simply booked a room/1 bedroom condo, online.

Our unit during our second visit was very similar the first. We were located in the back of the building both times, on the third floor. I have read other reviews complaining about "paper thin walls". I have never had a problem with this... maybe being on the third floor was to our benefit? (Note: none of these units appear to have elevators. If you aren't on the first floor, you will have to lug all you belongs up the flights of stairs)

Units are nicely appointed. Decor was a bit dated but still clean and inviting. Our unit had just about everything one could need with a nice full sized flat screen TV's, a full kitchen, a nice bath (our tub was seriously HUGE), a huge walk in closet, king sized (comfortable bed), a full sized washer and dryer on the deck, etc, etc. All for around 100 bucks a night. You can easily spend that much on three meals a day when staying at a "normal" hotel where you are forced to eat out for all your meals.

We really like the location of this hotel too. Super convenient/close to the strip but not as hectic and loud as the strip itself. You can easily walk to places like the Venetian, Flamingo, and the Linq. Parking is ample for a car of your own. However, the use of the shuttle is convenient too.

Staff was amazingly helpful and friendly during our last stay. Since were were at the very back of the hotel we were told to just call the front desk if we ever needed anything like more towels, etc, and they would bring them to us....and they meant it! We called to see if there was an ice maker on the premisses because the fridge/freezer was being a bit slow on making it (we had our friends over shortly after we arrived) They quickly offered to bring us a bag and were at our door within 5 minutes........ Noel, at the front desk, checked us in and deserves mention for being super awesome too.

Convenience store has many essentials if you really need something and don't want to go to the store. Prices are a bit high, compared to the normal grocery store, but nothing terrible.

The only negative that I have to say is that my fiance forgot to pack something and when we called the next day to (hopefully) pay to have it shipped to us, someone in housekeeping apparently had sticky fingers and it never managed to make its way to lost and found. :( Yes, our fault for forgetting it. But sad that housekeeping isn't honest enough to turn it in. Knowing that, I DEF wouldn't leave any valuables lying around my room when I'm out for the day....since they appear to come in daily to make beds, etc.

We have been to Vegas many times and we were offered a very discounted stay if we took part in the vacation ownership tour. We researched this place a bit and weren't quite sure what to expect. The location was very good for us, we had a car, but even if we didn't have a car it is a short 10 min walk to the new linq area on the strip.

The checkin process and service was very good. We were off to our room real quickly. Our room had a nice kitchen area, living room, decent sized bedroom and very large bathroom. It was fairly old, but we later learned that many of the rooms were redone, I guess our wasn't yet. We did have a room at the very back, so if you are walking you probably want to make sure you have a room near the front of the resort

We spend a fair bit of time at the pools and the pool area was small and not very exciting like some of the larger hotels. The great thing was that we could bring our own drinks and snacks without people charging us ridiculous prices for everything. The gyms were also fairly well appointed. There are 5 pools on the resort but two were closed for the week that we were there.

There was store at the front and the prices weren't super good they weren't expensive like the strip either. Table, there is also a restaurant and the drinks were reasonable. We didn't eat there but people around seemed happy with the food.

We did use the concierge once to look something up. Their main concern was trying to sell us show tickets. We took part in the vacation ownership presentation, it was what we expected, we said no no no at the end and were able to leave after dealing with two levels of "managers"

All in all, not too bad, location was great, having the full kitchen could be great, lots of room if kids are there. Our suite wasn't very new

Room Tip: If you don't have a car you probably want a suite closer to the front of the resort as the resor...

If you want to stay off the Strip but near enough to walk, this is the place to stay. They don't even have slots on the premises. Nice and quiet, exceptionally clean inside and out, hospitable personnel, and excellent service. Free shuttles to the Strip as well as on the grounds to the front desk. Lots of convenient, covered parking if you have a vehicle. Fully-stocked kitchen, lots of linen, washer-dryer, flat-screens in the living area as well as bedroom(s). Stayed here three years in a row and am booked for this July. Doesn't have a great eatery, although it was expanded a year ago. Good pizzas. You can sit inside or outside overlooking the main pool. Nice in the evening, as you get some welcome shade. Just across the street from the new Lynx ferris wheel/shopping area which helps you get to the Strip rather than having to go down to the end of the block and over. The units are 3-story surrounding a pool; recommend, if you are able to climb 2 flights of stairs, the top floor for more privacy and quiet. Units are being updated with nice furnishings and color, although what is being replaced is decent. Highly recommend, especially if you have multiple members in your party.

Room Tip: Top floor facing the pool. Something to look at on the balcony other than a parking lot and no poss...

This was our first trip to Las Vegas and we liked the HI. The condo was nice as was the pool area. It was great to have the car so close My husband is disabled and the front desk sent a van to pick us up several times to take us to the front of the resort for taxi. We did not use the shuttle service offered but can see how it will be very useful to some. We liked the location and it was easy to drive where ever we wanted. The condo was furnished nicely and seemed to have everything needed. The only negative was that the carpet was filthy! After a few days we noticed that if there was any water on the tile and it was walked on it left very black dirt. Clean the carpet and we will be back!

Room Tip: Mobility issues--get first floor. We were poolside and enjoyed sitting outside.

We were in Las Vegas for a week for a couple of weddings. Especially since we had a 6 mo old with us a condo was very nice as opposed to a hotel room. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo & Mom, Dad & baby took the master with a nice big private bathroom & Grandma & Grandpa took the other bedroom on the opposite side of the condo that shared a bath with any other guests so good space & separation there.
Yes as stated in other reviews, noise from the outside is an issue. We were on the 1st floor right by the pool & could hear the people upstairs as well as people on the outside stairs & in the pool & hot tub at all hours. Fortunately we had a sound machine for the baby.
The lighting was terrible, especially in the bathrooms and we had to go outside on the patio to put on makeup. The wifi worked but we couldn't stay connected on our phones and I had to connect over and over on my laptop so that was a pain. Our Sprint phones barely worked. We could usually text but could usually not make or receive calls. That wasn't any fault of the hotel but worth mentioning for Sprint users.
The recent remodeling effort was fairly nice & the kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to be able to be able to cook & fix some meals, especially breakfast & lunch. Negative is that the tile floor was filthy & we found a sock from a previous tenant under one of the beds.
The pool & hot tub outside our building were nice & shuttle convenient but could also walk to strip in about 15 - 20 min.
Biggest negative was the restaurant. The food was pretty good & reasonably priced but the service was absolutely terrible. 1st time we went there were very few other people in the place but it still took at least 15 min to get 4 draft beers & a mixed drink (sodas came in 5 or so minutes). They seemed put out that we wanted to push 2 tables together to accommodate 7 people. We ordered several orders of wings, which was the special that day, & a hamburger & I ordered a side salad. It took at least 45 minutes to get the wings and burger & the salad came out after the wings as did napkins & I had to wait for someone to be available to even ask for silverware. We ordered a pizza to pick up one night & 1/2 the crust was very burnt and the other 1/2 was ok. Two of us went one night & got a salad & burger & the service was pretty fast that night but the drink order got mixed up. We had planned for 10 people to eat there another night but went elsewhere for faster service.
Other services were good. We needed more TP, etc, & they brought it right away. The desk staff was helpful with directions to grocery stores, etc.
We don't plan to go back to Vegas but if I was to go for this long I might consider staying here again to have a condo as opposed to just a hotel room. Also, 4 people can very comfortably share a 2 bed condo.

Our overall stay was excellent ! Ashley our concierge was the greatest , very helpful both before our arrival and awesome once we arrived . She suggested great shows and helped us with everything at the resort down to the last detail. You are very lucky to have such a professional employee. Our room was great beyond our expectations. We would also like to recognize Iceis in the Gold Mine bar and grill. She also went above and beyond expectations with service as well as advice about great places to visit. All the bellmen and staff in general were great , the property was beautiful and well kept. Our only complaint would be the pool situation. At the time of our visit 2 of the pools were closed , several days we couldn't find seats at the other pools. We love to have coffee and sit by the pools for a few hours in the mornings , and were very dissapointed that we weren't able to do that at all.We felt a little cheated because we weren't able to enjoy the beautiful pools.
