“Exceeded our high expectations”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 February 2014

We avoid hotels if at all possible--we prefer B&Bs; however, the B&B selection in Las Vegas is limited. We chose Staybridge Suites based on the tripadvisor reviews and were so glad we did. We had extremely high expectations and it far exceeded them. It was a perfect stay.

It definitely does not feel like a hotel--it has a condo feel to it. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was definitely like a condo. Extremely spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. The entire hotel was immaculate!

The location was superb--just south of the strip so you don't have the traffic issue (which are horrible on the strip).

The suite was spacious and quiet--we never heard any other guests above or beside us which was fantastic. It has a heating/cooling system like in a home--not the noisy wall units in hotels. The bed was so comfortable!

It is a totally nonsmoking hotel with no casino so you didn't have the smoke or casino issues; however, it is so close to the strip if you want to do that.

The breakfasts were wonderful.

So if you are needing a place to stay in Las Vegas, this is the place.

Thank you for your review, stripes90. We are thrilled to hear we were able to exceed your expectations! I think you hit the nail on the head with the "condo feel" as that is what we are going for; home away from home! --Nicole Marshall nmarshall@thmc.biz

We stayed here because we were flying out early the next morning, and didn't want to stay downtown with all of the hustle and bustle, but still be close enough to it. this hotel was very clean and I couldn't believe how big our suite was. I felt like it was the size of a small apartment. The free breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly.

the rooms were very large, very spacious. The size of a apartment, so you could stay comfortably for a long stay. Close to the strip and they have a shuttle that will pick up and drop off at New York, New York

We stayed here this past weekend. The hotel was very clean and inviting with friendly staff and our room was really like a furnished apartment not a "room." I would guess it was about 800 square feet and even included a washer in dryer! The "hot" outdoor hot tub was in excellent shape and the water chemistry was perfect! Our daughter enjoyed the pool while we enjoyed the relaxation of the hot tub. In the morning, we used the exercise facility. was nicely equipped with a great view of the The Strip. After working out, we headed down to the complimentary breakfast. Our daughter, a competitive swimmer, happily munched her way through scrambled eggs, bacon, pineapple, watermelon, yogurt, and granola! I have celiac disease and was able to easily find non-gluten items to enjoy. We will definitely return to this facility, as we felt very spoiled and relaxed upon leaving!

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the pool. It was extremely quiet!

Renee O, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I am thrilled we were able to exceed your expectations and ensure the entire family had a great stay! On your next visit, be sure to book for the Deluxe Suite as that is the room that is 780 square feet. Our One Bedroom Suite also has a washer/dryer in the room and the Studio Suites have free access to a guest laundry room. --Nicole Marshall nmarshall@thmc.biz

We stayed here last month and everything exceeded our expectations during our 4 night stay. Very clean and inviting, we ate every night for dinner and breakfast not just because we were on a budget; the food was great, fresh fruits and veggies and hot food; not your typical complementary breakfast. The room is more of a suite, everything you would find in a furnished apartment or like a suite at a Residence Inn. The kids and the dog enjoy the place and kids are not easy to please, teenagers that is. We utilized the shuttle service for the majority of our stay which is a cool bonus. Took a Taxi once for a return to the hotel was out late, not expensive. This place is not on the strip but is adjacent and was actually better for getting around the traffic, you can drive up the back way of the strip, which was awesome when we were going to the Freemont experience. Overall with proper planning and traveling with pet this is the best place for a Bang for your buck. The only con for us was our dog is not from Las Vegas and was not accustomed to relieving herself on desert landscape, she needed grass. So we either had to walk a couple blocks up the street in the industrial area or get in the car and drive to the nearest park (not far) but just a damper in the plans. Spoke with a couple of the staff at the check-in/out desk about them adding a small slab of grass out back for dogs that are like mine; trained only to take care of business on grass. Hopefully this got approved and is place, especially since we plan to return again. I would like to thank Nicole (check-out) again for asking/listening about our stay.

We stayed 4 nights at the Staybridge during our first trip to Las Vegas. The rooms are really one bedroom apartments, fully equipped including a full kitchen, laundry ensuite, large bathroom with double sinks, king bedroom, living room and balcony. The extra space was great as were the laundry facilities. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. Buffet breakfast is included each morning and offers a decent variety and quality to choose from. Free shuttle service to and from the airport and the New York, New York hotel on the strip is included. However the shuttle only comes if you call and only once an hour. If you miss it, as we did when we arrived, you wait an hour or take a taxi ($20). The housekeeping is "light" and non existent on weekends unless previously booked. There were a few issues during our stay, most of which were quickly fixed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the strip. It also overlooks the highway, but the noise is minimal.

Thank you for sharing your review, WV, and for letting us be your first Las Vegas destination. I am glad we met your expectations but apologize we did not exceed them. The shuttle is by appointment only, but we only need a few minutes notice to get you on the schedule. (Top of the hour for the Strip and bottom of the hour for the Airport.) The reason for this is that if there is no one needing the shuttle, we can conserve resources. Anytime you need additional housekeeping services, please know you can call the Front Desk anytime and we can ensure you are taken care of. --Nicole Marshall nmarshall@thmc.biz
